Kept In The Dark

Chapter 2

Louis P.O.V

All I see is black, I can hear the boys voices but I can't see them. What in the world is happening to me? The boys all be quite and even though I can't see them I feel their eyes burning into me.

"Lou, what do you mean, your eyes are shut? They are clearly open." The familiar Irish voice speaks to me, I feel the end of my bed sink down, meaning someone is sitting on it.

I try my best to open my eyes and hope that the darkness clears, but my eyes are open and all I see is pitch black. I feel a hand touch my shoulder and rub it trying to sooth me.

I start to panic, why can't I see? I feel tears start to fall down my cheeks. "Someone grab the doctor" I hear Liam speak "its okay mate, it's just me, it's okay." I feel his arms wrap around me and I wrap mine around him. I let myself cry on his shoulder, he just rubs circles on my back trying to comfort me.

I hear the door either open or close, I'm not entirely sure. "Hi Mr Tomlinson, my name is Doctor Theo Johns, I have been your doctor since you have been here. I'm glad to see you're awake. But I hear you can't see, most likely due to the amount of stress you have had on your brain. Hopefully it's only temporary and you have your vision back soon. But you have to be prepared Mr Tomlinson, this blindness may be a permanent thing."

That's when it hit me, I'm blind.
