Beccas POV
Its been 2 weeks and Mason still hasn't spoken to me. School starts in 1 week and im not ready to go back. I hate school and 98% of the people in it. I was bullied when I was a kid, but not anymore. I was constantly teased about something I couldn't control , my spots. But that's all in the past and I found out that the only true friends ive got are Juliette and Mason.... Right , Mason. Im still stuck with my mason problem. Its scary because we've never gone this long without speaking before. We have Been friends since the very start and we've been there for each other no matter what. I remember one time Mason got into a fight with Cade at school because he was teasing me during class and I was there for him in the aftermath. I was the one that held frozen peas on his eye while he played call of duty. He acted like it didnt hurt , but I heard him whimper whenever i pressed on the peas too hard. I attempted to call Mason one more time but still no answer. It looks like i wont be talking to him until school.. If that. Im so stupid, I just want my best friend back!

Masons POV
I was out playing football with the boys when Becca called again, but im sticking with my plan to ignore her and get rid of this stupid puppy love crush. I know exactly what I'll do , I'll get a girlfriend. Yeah. I'll get a girlfriend to distract myself. I basically have half of the girls at school drooling over me. It cant be that hard, just a few more days until school anyway , I have a feeling this year is gonna be amazing !

        -1 week later-

Beccas POV
It was finally time for school and im not ready for the amount of effort this takes.I wasnt sure if mason was going to meet me in our usual place to go to school , so I went anyway just to make sure. But , just as I thought , he wasnt there. Great. Becca the
loner , wonderful start to this year. I finally got to School and was immediately greeted by what seemed to be my only friend , Juliette. I took a glance around the area to see if mason was there , and he was sat on a table with this girl who I had never seen before so she must be new . She was incredibly beautiful with straight blond hair , deep green eyes , long eyelashes and she looked around the same height as Me (very small then..) she had perfectly clear skin and seemed super friendly and happy. Part of me was jealous but , what is there to be jealous of ? Mason and I aren't dating so I shouldn't even care... But why does it feel like my heart has just been ripped out of my chest and stabbed by one thousand needles. Lets just get this year over with so I can finally leave school and ditch this stupid town. Ugh. How I missed his annoying face.

Masons POV
Amazing news , I rolled up at school to find this new hot girl called Tessa and shes all over me ! I introduced myself and offered to show her around and because she has no friends yet , she just hangs out with me . I think I saw Becca for a moment but I was too fixated on Tessa to notice, she has the most beautiful green eyes ever , her eyes are kinda like Beccas but , Tessa's are way better. And Tessa wears the most beautiful perfume that smells like roses and vanilla. I asked her for her number and she actually gave it to me. Now all I have to do is use my charm and I'll be over Becca in no time ! As long as no one gets in my way. I saw some boys eyeing Tessa up when we were sat together , I just hope I made a good impression before anyone else snatches her up. However , I completely blanked Becca for most of the summer so , im probably gonna get shouted at by Juliette. But who cares ? Ive basically got Tessa now. This year is looking great.
