"Alfie tonight's a full moon." I whispered as I typed my reply back.

"Yea, I got it covered."

"How?"

"Covers, literally."

I looked at Joe after I read the text, he was smirking before being called out by the teacher for being on his phone.

"So, covered with covers? Really?" Joe asked Alfie as we walked to our next lesson.

"Cover up every source of moonlight." Alfie replied.

The reason we're avoiding moonlight is because we're supernaturals. The moon affects us because of who we are.

Joe and I are vampires, well, fledglings. We've never drank human blood, and don't intend to.

Alfie can control anything connected to the elements, Earth, water, fire and ice.

And Caspar can control the weather, turn invisible and move, really fast.

"Oh, sorry to bother you, where's, um. Mr Hank's classroom?" Sophia asked as we passed her in the hallway.

"We're on our way, follow us."

"And that's why the Earth experiences earthquakes." Mr Hank's said to conclude the lesson.

"Or maybe we experience earthquakes because Caspar and Alfie get mad." I whispered to Joe.

Joe chuckled just before the bell rang. "Class dismissed."

We sat down at the dinner table with Jim, Tanya, Louise and Marcus. We being Joe, Caspar, Alfie and I.

"If it isn't Zoella's boyfriend." Marcus said as we approached the table. Everyone calls me Zoella.

"Shut up kale boy." Alfie answered sarcastically.

"Mind if I sit here? I don't really know anyone else." Sophia came over and planted herself next to Tan.

"Sure."
