Chapter Three- You're not an expert, the internet is.

Sophia's POV-

The food wasn't great, sloppy Mac n Cheese, if I was at home I'd be able to turn it into something delicious. But then I remembered that I couldn't, not on a full moon. Using my powers on a full moon would make me weak, to weak to even walk.

"Marcus, are you eating, gulp, fries?" Jim asked.

"Oh shut up." Marcus replied, flinging a chip in his direction.

"Thought you were a gym lad." Alfie said, laughing.

"And I thought you were Zoella's boyfriend." He said, flinging a chip at Alfie.

"Today were talking spooky." Our drama teacher announced. I saw Alfie whisper something to Zoë, making her laugh. "Seeing as though Halloween is fast approaching. Can anyone name some supernatural creatures?"

Alfie's hand shot up. "Vampire."

Then went Zoë's. "A person that can control elements." Alfie knocked Zoë's arm, whilst she grinned.

"That's um very, specific." Mr B replied.

"Someone who can perform invisibility and is super speedy." Joe said.

"Wow, I was expecting werewolves, ghosts, witches but okay, creative creatures also fit into that category." Mr B laughed. "How about you Sophia, our new student."

"Um, a wizard?" Damnit.

"Okay, a wizard." Mr B nodded his head in confirmation he liked the idea. "Get into pairs and imagine a wizard, battling a vampire."

I managed to get a pair with Joe, thankfully someone I kind of knew. "Lucky you, I happen to be an expert in vampires." He said confidently.

"Really, because I happen to be an expert in wizards."

"How many times have you seen the Harry Potter movies?"

"I've seen the first half of the second movie, it's completely wrong. Wizard school isn't like tha-" I stopped myself before I said to much, "well, that's what I read online, anyway."

"Excuse me, if you read it online, your are not an expert, the internet is." He said sarcastically. "Why does the internet know what wizard school is like? What is it like."

"Um, you just read an old book really. Um, that's what the Internet says."

"Why research wizards in your spare time anyway."

"Why research vampires?"

Joe's POV-

"Big news." I said as I sat down at the dinner table, it was only me, Zoë, Alfie and Caspar. "New girl, deffo has a thing for supernaturals, more specifically, Wizards."

Alfie was about to open his mouth when the Caspar's phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Why?"

"Is everything ok?"

"You sound nervous, are you nervous?"

"Alright, bye?"

"What was all that about?" Zoë asked as Caspar put down the phone.

"My parents want me home for the weekend. They won't say why."

"Must be nothing." I shrugged as the rest of the housemates came in.

A/N- does anyone even like this book? i wrote it as kind of a joke, but i'm really getting into it. i have planned the story line and it's something exciting (i hope) 💗😈
