We landed in Tokyo around 6:34am and Jayceon let us know we had go check in at the hotel by 7:30am.
When arrived at The Peninsula Hotel with our bags in hand, some more than others, the bellmen immediately rushed over to us to grab our bags.
"Arigatou" I said to the bellmen. They nodded and proceeded to take the rest of the bags.
Jayceon leans over to me and asks "what did you say?"
I chuckled and said "I said thank you"
"So when did you learn how to speak Japanese?" He asked as we continue to walk and admire the design of the lobby.

"When I was in the second grade I told my mom I wanted to be a geisha." I said and everyone starts laughing. I stopped walked and gave them a look that basically said shut the fuck up. They got the message. "Anyways, when I told her she said 'well do you wanna learn how to speak Japanese instead?'"
"And what did you say" Jayceon asked, fascinated about the story. I don't really talk about my childhood much.
"Hai" I said while giving him this look because he asked a dumb question AND he thought I was saying hi. Bless him lord.

"Dumb question?" He inquired.
"Hai. Anyways, by me going to this preppy elementary school that had Japanese classes I learned. I became fluent by the beginning of third grade."
"Wait I thought you were from Queens?" Liam inquired.
"I am.." I said as they gave me a look that said 'explain bih'. I sighed and said "My parents and Aubrey had just moved from Canada when they adopted me. My dad was and still is a successful business man, but he was more successful back then. He had a house built in Queens because he was lowkey a drug dealer" I gave Jayceon a look that made him laugh. "But anywho we lived in Queens and my dad drove about an hour for me to go to school. When I started the 4th grade I think that was around the time Aubrey was filming for Degrassi. It was filmed back in Canada so my dad had a house up there too. So my mom and Aubrey stayed in Canada while he filmed and me and pop stayed in queens. We'd visit them every weekend. Any more questions?"
