I'm going to save you tonight

Chapter 3

Hey guys :) just wanna say thank you for those who have read my story so far :) 

remember this is my first fan fic so im sorry if i suck :/ 

I wanna let you guys know that Dance Competition rehursal is going to be starting soon so updates might be slow for a while but we shall see :) so on to the story. 

~last time~

“I honestly don’t know Nick. This was supposed to be the best day of my life and it still feels like it but now I am afraid of losing everyone here.” I answered him. “All I know at the moment is that I love you and I am not going to let anything happen to you or anyone in this group.” 

“I figured you would say that.” He told me kissing the top of my head. “I love you to. Go keep Niall company.” and then he went go and talk to Cody and Kenzie. 

I watch the rest of the group for a while then jogged up to match Niall and walk with him. 

“Hey lad, what’s up?” he said with a forced smile looking over to me. 

~now~

“Truthfully I’m scared out of my mind.” I told him looking around. I hate admitting that I am weak. 

“Aye I think we all are with all that is going on.” He told me giving me a sympathetic look. 

We fell into a comfortable silence walking down the road making sure to watch out for zombies. I looked back every now and then to make sure that everyone was alright and the group was still together. Liam and Zayn were lagging a little bit but were still close enough to the group that they wouldn’t get separated if we had to start running. Nick, Cody, and Kenzie were talking and were just far enough behind that we couldn’t hear them. 

Looking forward again I saw Niall looking at me. I smiled at him and looked forward. After a while of walking I got bored and started to hum “Little Things” to my self. I got to Niall solo when he started to sing making me jump. I didn’t know I was humming loud enough for him to hear me.

He finished his solo and gave me a look so I nervously sang Harry’s solo.

“I've just let these little things

' Slip out of my mouth

And I'm in love with you

And all these little things”

I finished the solo and looked at Niall and he had a surprised look on his face. 

“What?” I asked him worried. The only people I had ever sung infront of was Nick, Kenzie, and Cody. Now I was singing to freaking Niall Horan. 

“You have an amazing voice.” He told me still looking surprised. 

I blushed and looked down and muttered a thank you. 

“I mean it. Why are you not signed yet? You would probably sell more than us.” He told me only making me blush more. 

I thought about the answer and had to sigh. Of all the questions he could ask he had to ask that one. 

“My ... My parents ...” Was all I could get out before I started to hyperventilate. Why did he have to bring my parents up? Everything was going so good before he said that. 

“Tracy whats wrong!” Niall said starting to panick. “I’m sorry. What do I need to do?” 

“I ...” breath “need ...” breath “Nick...” I told him trying to catch my breath. Before Niall could yell for Nick the wind started to pick up and I heard three yelps from behind us. To the boys they just thought that the wind had picked up, but to Nick, Kenzie, and Cody they know that it meant I was starting to have a massive panick attack. When I stress I lose control of my powers and things start to go crazy. 

By the time they got to me the wind was making our clothes whip like flags. 

“Tracy whats wrong baby talk to me.” Nick said wrapping his arms around me trying to calm me down. 

“Niall ... Singing ... Parents... Dont leave me ...” I told me between breaths. By this time I was sobbing and holding onto Nick like my life depended on it. 

“Whats going on?!” Liam asked as the other four finally caught up with us. Everyone was leaning against the wind for fear of getting blown over. 

“I dont know. I asked him why he didnt sing for a record company and he started breathing hard and then he started having a panick attack.” Niall replied in tears.

“Liam can you make some metal walls around us to protect us from the wind and so we can try to calm him down?!” Nick yelled over the wind. 

With a quick nod Liam started to concentrate and the metal from the cars and buildings around is started to form walls around us. When the walls were finished we could still hear the howling of the wind but we could no longer feel it on us. 

“Shhh baby shhh their not here nothing is going to happen to you.” Nick whispered into my ear rocking me back and forth. “No one is going to hurt you now.”

I felt Kenz and Cody wrap their arms around me and mutter the same thing over and over. As I started to calm down Kenzie got up and walked over to the other five who were trying to calm down a still crying Niall. When she got up to them Niall looked at her and said through his sobs, “I am so sorry i didn’t mean to make him do that I swear.”

“I know Niall. We arnt mad.” I heard Kenzie telling him. “Tracy ... He didnt have the best childhood.” She started hesitantly. “I cant tell you everything, he will have to do that, but I will tell you this. He was beaten for years... Not just by his dad... But by his mom and the kids at school. When I first met him he would always be singing, but as the years went by and the beatings got worse he stopped. His parents ...” 

“Mackensie.” Nick said stopping her. “Let him tell them when he is ready. Right now we need to find a place to sleep for the night. I dont think we are going to be making it to Niall’s before the sun sets and I dont wanna be out here at night with those things.” 

She nodded, gave the boys a look of apology and walked back over to us.
