Chapter 8

      As Sebastian and I followed Kaneki into the apartment Sebastian closed the door behind me as I spoke.

      "You said  you would answer our questions Kaneki so I suggest we get started now." I said in a commanding voice. Kaneki nodded slowly as he glanced at Sebastian and I.

   "Go ahead and get started, you can take a seat." Kaneki said in a somewhat emotionless voice. I nodded and I took a seat on the couch then I spoke.

    "First off tell me more about ghouls." I said as I watched Kaneki closely, noticing a look of hunger in his eyes.

   "Ghouls are almost exactly like me. The crave human flesh and they cant eat much else besides coffee, and water. All ghouls have a predatory organ called a kagune. To start off there are four types of each kagune, and each kagune is unique  to the ghoul." Kaneki said letting the information sink in for a moment then he spoke again ,

    "First, the ukaku kagune that spreads out like feathers and emerges from the shoulder area. Thee kagune type is light weight and allows the ghoul to deliver a quick flurry of attacks at a time before running out of stamina. Also the feather like kagune will crystalize and shoot crystals from its wings like a gun. Finally when the kagune is crystalized the user is more better at far ranged attacks." Kaneki said as he thought for a moment.

      "The second kagune type is a koukaku. A koukaku comes out from under the shoulder blade and is very heavy and robust which makes them sturdy and great for defense. They can be used as shields and protection for defense and swords and hammers for offense." Kaneki said then he continued.

      "The third type of kagune is a rinkaku in which is what i have. A rinkaku comes from around the waist. The wielder heals incredibly fast as well and their kagune excel greatly in brute strength
  
      "The last type of kagune is a bikaku. A bikaku be had a balanced offense, speed, and defense and has a tail like appearance." Kaneki said as he finished. I nodded as I took in the information then  I opened my mouth to ask one more question.

     "You said a name earlier... Jason was it? What is your connection to him and what do you know of him?" I asked immediately regretting my question as kaneki tensed up and he spoke.

     "That question is for another day and i won't answer it." Kaneki said as he stood causing me to frown.

      "Why is it you dont wish to speak of him? Was he a lover of some sorts?" I asked causing Kaneki to shoot a glare at me.

    "No he wasn't, now don't talk about him or say his name unless you wish to end up out on the street." Kaneki growled as he stormed out of the room. I watched Kaneki in amusement and i looked as I felt Sebastians hand on my shoulder.

    "What is it Sebastian?" I asked my eyebrows raised.

      "I advise  we  dont speak of this Jason. The name Jason must bring back some of kanekis own troubled past, probably somewhat similar to yours." Sebastian purred out causing me to shiver at the memory f my own past.

    "Then I can see why he doesn't wish to talk of this Jason." I said with a wince then added.

    "Keep a close eye on kaneki. We may just get some more answers out of him by observation. I said with a sigh as Sebastian bowed and he spoke.

"Yes, my lord."
