Aarmau

Aaron's POV

She's so adorable when she's asleep. I should probably get to sleep myself.

"Goodnight beautiful," I whisper.

I kiss her forehead and drift off peacefully into dreamland.

Aphmau's POV

"Aph. Aphmau! Wake up!"

"Huhh?"

I opened my eyes properly.

"Hey, Shu," Aaron said.

I blushed. He hadn't called me that since highschool.

He giggled, apparently noticing my red face.

I decided to make that comment bounce back, because why not?

"Hello, FC," I replied.

"We haven't used those nicknames since highschool," he said.

"Oh really??" I said sarcastically. "I didn't knooooow. Thank you, captain obvious,"

"Hey!"

I giggled.

"Omg, did we sleep on the same couch??" I questioned.

"This time, yes," he said. "Sorry?"

I was blushing like a mad woman.

"No, it's cool," I said.

Wow, that's almost like...sleeping together.

"Don't you have a date to go look for a 'hot boyfriend'?" He teased.

"No, actually. We have a date with my mom so she can spend time with you and eventually grow to like you, maybe,"

"Oh my Irene, no, no no no, she hates me!" Aaron protested.

I laughed.

"It's gonna be okay," I kissed his cheek.

He blushed. I don't usually do that stuff to him. It's normally the other way around.

I glance at the clock.

It was almost noon!

"Crap! We should get going, hope you're ready!" I grabbed his wrist and pulled him out the door.

"Wha-?" he said as I did so.

We met my mom at the beach near our summer houses.

Aaron looked really stressed.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay," I reassured him.

"Mmhm," he said, sarcastically.

I squeezed his hand slightly.

"It's okay," I said again.

"Aphmau!" My mom ran over to us.

She immediately noticed our fingers/hands that were indeed interlocked.

"Why are you holding my daughter's hand?" My mom asked, obviously angered.

"Because we're dating," I blurted. "I've told you that."

"Did I okay this??" She asked me.

Oh my Irene.

"I knew this would be bad," Aaron whispered to me.

"I'll tell you if you should run," I replied.

"I am an adult, mom, I can date whoever I want. And I want to date Aaron," I said, confidently.

"But-"

"No buts, please mom,"

"I-" she was speechless.

"I'm sorry mom, you're gonna have to learn to accept it," I said.

"I...I will try," she said, sadly.

"So you'll give him a chance?!" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah, sure," she sounded bored or disappointed or something.

At least she said yes!

"Yay! Thank you mama!" I embraced her tightly.

Aaron picked me up and spun me around as we laughed. Once he had put me down, my mom growled.

Aaron took a step back.

I pulled him back to his original spot.

"It's okay," I said yet again.

After this we headed towards a restaurant for lunch. We had a really nice lunch and a great afternoon. I had a lot of fun. I think my mom is beggining to accept Aaron. She's learning how nice he is. Yay!

Aaron's POV

Aph's mom didn't kill me! That's a good start to her new...acceptance(?) of me.

I am very happy that she's giving me a chance to date her daughter. I had a lot of fun this afternoon.

"We should do this again sometime," I said, smiling at the girls.

"Yeah, I had fun," Aphmau said.

"I guess you're okay," I was very surprised when Sylvanna said this.

"Better than Gene," Aphmau whispered to me.

We giggled.

I'm actually glad we had this date/outing today.

I'm REALLY glad that Sylvanna actually (kind of) likes me! Yes!
