If you wanna know what the hell it means to get tagged because you're a complete noob (like me) then I will share with you some wisdom. To be tagged is a great honor, it is kind of like being THE CHOSEN ONE, except thousands of people are tagged all the time and you're not really anything special...
Anyways being tagged just means (and correct me if I'm wrong) you gotta answer some personal questions about yourself, at least ten questions to be precise.
Now I don't mean the kind of personal things you wouldn't even share with your closest friends. I don't want to know about the oddly shaped mole on your back, all of your heavy relationship drama, the fact that you sometimes pee when happy, or about the time you went on a field trip in kindergarten and the crazy teacher ended up leading you guys onto a nude beach (but if that last one did happen, that's freaking hilarious and you should totally write a story about it!)
Questions 1-penultimate can be any range of things you want to answer about yourself from your name, to gender, to favorite movie, color, show, porn star, celebrity crush, video game, song, band, artist, food, brand of underwear, book, number of pillows you sleep with, and the names of all of your future children from little Jimmy to Juan Carlos Garcia Pascillas Guerro Sombrero Churro Cardenas to name a few.
The last "question" isn't really something you're answering about yourself, it's a list of all the people you want to tag. If you've been stalking a fellow wattpad user for quite some time because their profile pic is just "dreamy" and they write stories that "speak to your soul" and you've followed them as far as their Facebook posts and Instagram likes...you have problems. But most people nowadays do, so don't be discouraged! Simply tag them and then they'll be forced to take part in this tradition and answer things about themselves even if they really don't want to. Who knows? Maybe you'll find out that that 18 year old guy with the sensitive soul and the warm brown eyes is actually a 30 year old woman who enjoys writing smut to spice up her (nonexistent) sex life!
As well, something I have recently learned is that it is possible to be tagged multiple times, even by the same person! If this happens to you simply answer a new series of questions, don't be that boring dude who uses the same answers over and over because he is too afraid we'll ask about his secret obsession with crocheting.
Only good can come from tagging people, so don't be shy! Unless you have social anxiety which is totally okay and there's no law or anything to tag someone just the weight of several years of established tradition and the peer pressure of thousands of Wattpad users from around the globe...
