I don't think Jax will be bothering anyone anytime soon. As you can probably tell I did win and I think I even killed Jax. My girlfriend loves me again (THANK GOD) but anyways let me give you the rundown.
You see I was getting ready to shift into my wolf fully expecting it to hurt just as much as last time. I even cleared a small little spot so that I could shift without the added bonus of being hurt by thorns or stray rocks when I heard something.
I turned expecting to see Jax ready to kill me, what I find instead was Stacy.
"What are you doing here!?" I frantically asked.
"I followed you. What are you doing here?" She countered.
I can't believe I let her catch me off guard. Though I was mentally preparing myself for a deadly beating so I guess it wasn't that bad of a mistake but still.
"I'm getting ready to shift. You need to leave now." I said.
I had to get her far away from me when Jax comes.
"Right that story. You know I came to talk you out of it but from what I've seen you really do believe it." She painfully says.
"Please I'll explain everything later but for now you need to go before you get hurt." I exclaim.
"Too late." Jax whispers.
I instantly whirl to see him leaning casually against a tree. I was terrified at that moment. Not only because I planned to be shifted when I met him but also because Stacy was here as well. Well crap.
Stacy finally saw him and told him to fuck off. I could have kissed her in that moment had we been in no danger at all.
"Stacy." I say calmly. "Get behind me."
I guess she heard the urgency in my tone cause she looked over at Jax and decided that she should listen.
"You have no idea how long I've waited for this and planned your death." Jax says.
I started to feel the change and it appeared that he did too. He started twitching and smiled. I noticed that this time around it wasn't as hard or long. I guess my body grew accustomed to it.
He fell to his knees while I tried to stay upright. As he turned I heard Stacy gasp. Guess she's never seen a werewolf before.
I changed into my wolf not long after as did Jax and we looked at each other. He was a brownish grayish color with a bit of white on the ears.
I swear I think I saw the bastard smile. Like last time I was fully aware but unlike last time I had control. This might be an even match I think.
He lunged just not at me but at Stacy just behind. I was not going to let that happen.
I threw myself in the way and bit into his flank as he clumsily ran into me. He quickly shook me off and leaped backwards.
As I righted myself he took a swipe at my face. As I felt the wind whistle in front of me I snapped at his outstretched paw. I luckily drew blood but the fight was far from over.
I ran right into Jax effectively slamming him into a tree to which he fell out of breath. I turned to see Stacy hiding behind a log. I ran to her side and lowered my body as an invitation to climb on my back. She looked hesitant at first until she saw Jax quickly recovering.
As soon as she made herself secure I sprinted into the woods looking for a safe place to put her. I opted for a road that was somewhat populated.
I figured that Jax wouldn't want to be discovered by attacking all the innocent people to get to one person. I let her off and pointed towards the road. She understood and ran to safety.
I turned and ran back into the woods looking for Jax. I found his scent but became confused as I found it leading around in circles. It's a trap I thought and instantly went red alert when I heard a branch break.
I turned just in time to see him flying through the air in my direction. He landed on me and scratched continuously at my face.
I had to turn the tables so I reached upward and sliced at his throat.
While I only scratched him, it was enough for him to fall back. I rose to my full height now bleeding from several cuts on my face. I tried to think. How can I kill him. That's when I thought about my cage. It wasn't finished so some of the pieces would be broken off.
I broke into a run in the general direction of the unfinished cage. As soon as it was in sight I turned not knowing how close Jax had been to catching me. Being blindsided by him at full speed was like being a fly and being swatted with the fly swatter.
I get on the opposite side of him making sure that he was inbetween me and the cage. Best part was I don't think he even saw it.
He leapt up in the air and I saw my chance. I leapt but instead of fighting off his attacks I used my weight to fling him onto the several bars sticking out of the cage effectively impaling him onto multiple beams of metal.
I was about to claim victory when I heard him whimper. Guess that wasn't enough. I went up to him fully knowing that what I was about to do could be horrendous. I bent over his broken body and tore open his throat.
I saw the light of his eyes clear out almost instantly. I howled in victory and ran home.
This morning I woke up on the couch cleaned up but very bruised and cut. I guess I keep the wounds from wolf to human. My only question was how did I get inside if I fell asleep outside.
My answer was in the form of the smell of coffee. She always did love her coffee. Stacy came by to see me awake.
"Guess you weren't telling stories then." She muttered.
"I'm sorry." I told her.
She looked at me and smiled.
"Don't be."
I smiled. That's when I got here. She's sleeping on my bed while I write this. I don't think I'll be dealing with Jax anymore and Stacy still loves me. Mason out.
