I woke up that Saturday morning with a pounding headache and my naked body tangled up with not only the bed sheets, but another person as well. I looked to my right to see an attractive brunette boy sleeping soundly which made everything much easier. I quietly got up from the bed making sure to make my footsteps light so he wouldn't wake up and hear me.

I found my clothes and dressed quickly so I could get out of there as soon as possible. Grabbing my phone and keys, I left the room and the boy to go home and nurse my hangover. The drive to Luke's house from Amanda's was a lot quicker than the drive from Luke's to mine. Since I lived on the richer side of town as opposed to Amanda and Luke, it would take a while to travel there. Checking the time on my phone I see it is ten in the morning and the coffee shop around the corner would be open.

I took a quick pit stop to the coffee shop ordering a hot vanilla latte and a ham and cheese croissant before taking my leave towards the place I call home.

I arrived home almost two hours later since traffic was extremely heavy which was very unusual on a Saturday morning. Normally everyone is at home resting from their long and strenuous week of work and school. When I pulled into the driveway I noticed an unfamiliar car parked on the street in front of our house, but I assumed it was the neighbors or father bought a new car.

I opened the door to the house and heard laughter coming from the family room, great people are here. Unfortunately for me I would have to pass the family room in order to get to the stairs that lead to my room which would cause me to be seen by our guests and my family. I tip toed towards the stairs hoping my silent steps would cause me to go unnoticed, but I'm just not that lucky.

"Chanel Alessandra Romano, where do you think you are going?" My mother shrieked.

"Upstairs, to my room," I respond in a bored tone.

"You have been out all night young lady, your father and I were worried sick," She scolds.

"Obviously not sick enough to call to check in on me," I snap not in the mood for their bullshit.

"You do not talk to your mother in that tone Chanel," My father steps in.

"Boo fucking hoo, cry me a damn river," I respond while rolling my eyes.

"We do not use that type of language in this house!" My mother says and I roll my eyes yet again.

"What a shame," I say sarcastically knowing it'll make them even angrier.

"Chanel you are being rude, we have guests," My sister, Claire, tells me.

"I don't have any guests, you guys have guests," I tell them while leaning against the wall with my arms crossed finally looking at our guests. It was two women, one much older than the other, but both still older. The older lady radiated poise, elegance and power, one could easily tell she was held in some high regard.

"Charles, Crystal, who is this?" The older lady asked my parents.

"This is our eldest daughter, Chanel," My father responded to her.

"Why didn't you mention another daughter! She's gorgeous," The older, now familiar looking, lady cried.

"Thank you m'am," I respond politely with a small smile.

"How old are you dear?" She asks me while looking at me with sudden interest.

"I am 18, Claire and I are twins," I tell her.

"Yes, but I got the better genes; beauty and brains," She laughed causing my mother and father to chuckle with her.

"Oh really? Is that why my GPA is higher than yours?" I ask her innocently.

"What are you talking about? My GPA has always been higher than yours?" She asked nervously.

"Oh really? Is that why you got a 2.9 GPA and I got a 4.8?" I asked putting a finger on my chin as if I was thinking. "Wait, something just doesn't add up. Oh well, I'll be upstairs in my room, nice to meet you both." I walked upstairs to my room to change into some soft gray nike shorts and a white cropped t-shirt that shows my belly button piercing. I decided to go downstairs to grab something to eat when I saw that our guests didn't have any drinks with them. "I see my family has forgotten their manners, would you guys like something to drink?"

"Oh yes please, may we get two waters?" The older lady asked.

"Of course," I smile politely as I grab to water bottles from the refrigerator and two glasses from the cupboard before returning to the family room and setting them down on the table.

"Thank you dear," The older lady smiles.

"I was just about to make lunch would you two be staying for some?" I ask.

"Oh no we wouldn't want to intrude," The younger lady says.

"No, it would be my pleasure, please stay," I say warmly.

"Well if you insist," The older lady smiles. "How about we move this conversation to the kitchen? I'm interested to see what Chanel will cook us!" They all followed me to the kitchen and sat on the stools situated around the island.

"So resuming our conversation, I assure you Claire is the perfect fit for your son," My mother tells her enthusiastically.

"Perfect fit for what exactly?" I ask intrigued by their conversation.

"I'm getting married," Claire says snottily.

"And what poor, unfortunate soul would have to marry you?" I snort. Claire is quite the handful, to put it in short terms she basically psycho, I pity the man who has to marry her.

"My son, Prince Nixon Pierce, maybe," The older lady said which I laughed at.

"Yeah, and my mom is the Queen of England. No, seriously who?" I ask still giggling at the wild idea.

"She's actually not joking honey," My father says quietly causing my giggles to stop.

"Allow me to introduce myself, Queen Amelia Agatha Pierce of Illyria," The older lady says to me causing my jaw to drop.
