THE PARTY:February 12th 2011

"OK Ashley we're here. Are you sure you want to spend the night? I can come get you later" my mom tells me way to overprotective. "I'll text you if I need to come home early. Bye mom." I open the car door and climb out of the car grabbing my bag. I walk to the door of Alexandra's house, she opens the door "ASH!!!! You made it and as usual you're late." she shakes her head brown wavy hair everywhere she's wearing the soul eater shirt I was letting her borrow and some blue jeans. "it's only 20 minutes. At least I came" I smile big knowing that I had annoyed her. We walked to her room after I said hi to her parents and little brother Zachary. "Ashley this is Kristen but she likes Kris better, kinda like how you like Ash instead of Ashley." Kristen I mean Kris was wearing a black zip up hoodie and red jeans. She was tan with black straight hair. "sup I'm Kris." she held out her hand I shook it. "I'm Ash" I said with a smile, she smiled back and saw large canine teeth. It took me a moment to realize she was different like me, I me so was Alex but I noticed that long ago. I snapped out of my train of thought when Alex shook my shoulder. "Ash are you ok you look concerned?" Alex looked at me worried. "ya I'm fine I was just thinking." we started talking about school boys and anime.

"girls, Zachary it's time for dinner and cake for dessert, the well open presents." we all walked from Alex's room to the kitchen, Zachary was already at the table. I sat on the bench Alex's dad had brought in from the back porch, and Alex sat next to me Kris tried to sit on the bench too but there was no room so she sat on the chair next to it so she could be next to Alex. "so girls I order pizzas hope that's ok and Ash I got all with no garlic because I know about your allergy" Alex's mom told me "thank you so much" we finished our pizza and cake and Alex opened percents. Then it was time to be quiet and get ready for bed

In the morning after breakfast Alex wanted to go skate around on her skateboard "uhmm Alex I don't know how to skate" Alex walked over to me and put a hand on my shoulder "it's fine can you ride a bike? I have a small one that you could ride." I nodded and followed her to the garage she pulled out her brother bike that had training wheels "here Ash you can ride this" she smirked evilly at me "bitch I will slap you after I get a stool so I can reach your stupid face" we laughed "wait you're short I didn't even notice" Kris grinned. I growled

We stopped at a field for a breather. "hey can you keep a secret? it's kinda important" I sat down it the tall grass. Alex and Kris sat with me in a triangle. "what's up Ash? " kris said grabbing my shoulder "are you ok?" Alex looming at me worried again, she worries as much as my mom sometimes more. "I'm fine it's just I......" I trailed off thinking they would think I'm crazy for what I'm about to say "uhmm well I can.......I can see thing most people can't. Like you Alex you have parts of that you can't see and Kris so do you.......I'm scared to tell you any more I don't want you to think I'm crazy" Alex stood on her knees and hugged me "Ashley you can tell us anything I'm not going to think you're crazy, you're my best friend. You may be weird but not crazy." Kris hugged me too "she said right she always is" I nodded in agreement "well Alex you're not human you're a pixie and Kris your a werewolf" I said quickly hopping the couldn't understand me. They both looked at me wide eyed mouths a gap "how do you know?! What are you?! Can we hurt people?! What about our families?!" Alex babbled freaking out. "Alex calm down! Like I said I can see things others can't. I'm a vampire. You shouldn't be able to hurt anyone because you don't know how to access your powers. Your families are fine you probably got this way because of them." I grabbed her "how are you not dust? How can you see? Do we need to worry about people trying to kill us?
