put a needle through my heart
and watch me bleed
you might as well – you hurt me already
why should you care?
why should i?the blood is flowing now,
it's gushing
i want to find you, but you're gone
you won't even try – don't bother, lover
i can do it myself.thread follows the needle through
it hurts, but less than when you left me
i pull, i tug, it's not enough
blood's still seeping from my wounds.someone else might come along
someone else who'll pretend to care
but soon they'll find, when they're drowning
that they can try to stitch me up
but blood's still flowing from my heart.
