((( Author's Note: hey there. So my laptop crashed this week. So I am updating from an app on my ipad, so be a little bit forgiving of any errors. Also, usually I italicize thoughts or flashbacks. The app won't let me, so I am improvising and I'll edit it later. So where you see the ~ sign, pretend it's italized and know that is the flashback. Thanks)))
Michelle Silas had met up with Sierra and Magda at a small wedding shop outside of university district. Michelle had just gotten off of a shift at the dinner, and she was sweating mess.
"Seriously," Magda said. "You smell like old French fries. We're in a wedding dress store."
"I didn't have time to change," Michelle said. "I came straight from the diner. I tried to get off earlier, but I am already missing two shifts this week because this wedding planner has appointments every day. Today I am shopping for wedding dresses, tomorrow Bryce and I are tasting cakes, and then on Friday we are meeting with pastors."
"So why are you going through so much trouble to get remarried?" Sierra asked. "I mean, your little ceremony in Leavenworth sounded cute."
"It's my dad," Michelle said. "He is convinced Bryce and I aren't a legitimate couple. I hate it, but if a wedding makes my dad respect my marriage, then that is what I want. I just didn't realize when he said he was paying for our wedding he would insist we planned in before Christmas. I am so stressed."
"What about this Wyatt guy, the wedding planner?" Magda asked. "Is he cute? Maybe Sierra and Wyatt could hook up?"
"He's probably gay, Mags," Sierra groaned. "Besides, today is all about Michelle. She is having her wedding to the man of her dreams. Yes, I am crazy jealous, but this is important. Bryce and Michelle really love each other, and that is the point of this wedding crap."
"Still," Magda said. "You should find a guy at the wedding. Maybe you could hook up with the guy, Mr. Silas' assistant."
"Dixon is not her type," Michelle replied shortly.
"Just because he was your first kiss doesn't make him off limits," Magda said. "You're married now, to a really hot sweet guy. So Dixon is fair game."
"She is right though," Sierra said. "He isn't my type. Besides, if I dated him I'd have to like, hang out with Mr. Silas. Oh God, he probably has dinner with Michelle's dad and step-monster! I think I will pass on that."
Michelle just nodded. As much as she was trying to stay present, her palms were sweating as she thought of that morning. During their breakfast, she'd made a confession that was gnawing at her. She didn't regret her decision, but some part of her was exhilarated and terrified. She remember the conversation while Magda and Sierra talked.

"So I decided something," Michelle said as she sipped her coffee.
"Really," Bryce said. "Does it have anything to do with a certain proposal I made the other night?"
"Yes it does," Michelle replied. "Don't freak out, but I want to accept your proposal."
"Really?" Bryce said with a goofy grin. "So we are getting married, officially. The plan is for us to really try and make this work."
"Yes," Michelle said. "It's going to be hard, but I know what I want. I love you Bryce, and I want to be your wife."
"Wow," he said, his eyes dancing as he glanced at her. "I love you so much, you know."
"I love you too, Bryce."
He leaned over and kissed her.
"When do you need to get to the diner?" Bryce asked.
"Ten minutes," Michelle replied. "We definitely don't have time for sex, Bryce Santiago. I've seen that look before."
