Sorry it took so long to update!
Would you guys let me know if it's hard to understand when I switch the characters in each chapter? :) <3I keep running, running, and running. I don't know where I am, but I don't care. I just want everything to be normal. Cara can't have a baby, she can't be pregnant. And if she does have a baby, nothing will be the same. She'll probably have to drop out of high school. Oh my god what if she dies. You are so dramatic, Bailey.
I run and I keep on running until I trip over a branch, and fall right on my ass. Oh look you ran until you were in some creepy woods. You are so smart!
I get of the ground, dust my probably purple ass off, and keep walking. I'm just glad that it's not night time. Thank the lord!
Oh look, I broke my phone when I fell. Yippee. So I probably can't call for anyone to come get me. Isn't this just great, not. And I bet you 10 dollars I have pieces of glass is my tushie. Thank my lucky stars it still works.
So I call Cara to come pick me up.
After the third ring she picks up, "Bailey?!"
"Yeah, hey, I'm so, so sorry for just running of and not confronting you."
"No your not."
"Yeah... you're right. But could you come pick me up?"
She lest out an exasperated sigh, "I guess. Where are you?"
"I'm in these creepy woods, that's all I know."
After 10 minutes of explaining what the woods look like, she decided that they were supposedly her uncles woods. Uh who knew her uncle had woods? Not me. Whatever.
"So why did you think it was a good idea to run from me, bitch?"
I jerk my head up from looking at the ground, to find Cara about 12 feet away from me, and her car Is about the same distance from her than she is from me.
You would have thought that I would have hear pull up in her car, but I guess not.
"Ummm..." I said not looking at her.
"Oh whatever. You're just gonna have to buy me a bunch of food for about... Let's say... Nine months?"
"Fine." I said letting out a sigh.
***
"What do you mean they're back, dad?"
"Brendon, would you please calm down. I'm only discussing this with because I thought you were mature enough to handle it. But it seems I have mistaken."
My hands automatically clamp down on the sides of the seat, I want to lash out, I want to scream. But I know I can't. So I look around my fathers office, the same office, well, the offices are never the same but the things inside are, until I'm finally calm enough to speak.
"Who else knows about this?"
"Just our family, son. So do well to keep it that way. Do you hear me," He stands up from his desk, walks around, until he's in front of me, "I said, do you hear me?!"
"Yes, sir."
"Now leave, I've got to talk to your mother about dinner tonight."
***
"Where are we going, Cara? I have to get home, I'm supposed to have dinner with my family, and the Smiths."
"You can't miss it?" She says, taking her eyes of the road for longer than I would like.
"Not unless you want me to be grounded. And then I can't be there to help you out with all this baby mess."
She once again takes her eyes off the road, but this time it's to glare at me. Man this girl is so bitchy.
We finally arrive at my house, I sit there not really wanting to go in. I don't want to deal with that annoying ass little boy. God I'm so mean.
"Hey do you wanna join us? I'm sure my parents won't mined. If you don't have plans and if your parent are okay with it?"
"Sure, I'm pretty sure my parents won't care either. " She said, As we both get out the car.
"And just so we're clear, I know you only invited me because you don't want to deal with Jacob on your own." Damn it. How did she know?
Opening the door to my house I scream, "Mom, I'm home. Oh and Cara's here too, hope that's okay."
She walks out of the kitchen with a smile on her face. "Of course. You've got another friend here as well."
What the actual hell.
I give my mom my signature what-the-hell-look. Just so she knows I have no fucking clue who she's talking about.
But she's not paying any attention to me.
"Cara, how have your parents been?"
"Good. How've you been, Mrs Davis?"
I don't have time for this (ain't nobody got time for that.)
I walk away from their completely boring conversation. And I go in to the kitchen.
I pause when I enter. Scanning the kitchen I see the Smiths, my dad, and someone that I wouldn't normally see. Who's facing the sink washing their hands.
"Hey, hon, how was your day?" My dad says, stoping his conversation with the Smiths.
"Fine."
The guy at the sink who I'm guessing is "my friend" turns around as soon as I finish speaking.
Oh my god, he's here.
