New York City
Toni
"What are you doing here?" I asked my little sister Beyoncé, I haven't seen her in over 8 months.

"I came to see you guys. But I guess you guys didn't really care about me." She said, looking back and sighing.

She faced me again as I fiddled with my hands.

"I did." I whispered. "What was that?" She asked, leaning forward. "I said, I really missed you too." I said loudly making sure this time she could hear me.

A left her eye, "well. Don't just stand there." She chuckled.

We walked toward one another, she roughly pulled me into a hug. Embracing one another.

"I missed you Toni. I thought you were gone." She said.

I looked down and pulled back from our hug and looked anywhere but at her.

"Why would you think that?" I asked swallowing my saliva. "It's not like you cared much." I said looking up at her.

Her attitude changed and so did her facial expression.

"What? What makes you say such?" She asked as tears fell from her eyes.

"You don't care about what I do. You never cared about anything that I've ever been involved in or with." I said truthfully speaking.

"What are you saying? Where are all these things coming from?" She asked wiping away her tears but the kept falling.

Her voice was shaky and hurt.

"You know exactly where this is coming from. You caused this pain. You've always cared about yourself only—"

"That's not true!" Tamar came out her apartment yelling. "You've always been the one who cared about yourself. Your the one who left when mother died. Your the one who never took care of us." Tamar said as tears streamed down her cheeks. "And your out older sister! I looked up to you." Tamar said.

Tears began to well up in my eyes as I gritted my teeth looking away, trying hard to not cry.

Tamar
"That's not true." Toni whispered, wiping away her sniffles.

"Yes it is." Beyoncé said. "No matter what you say or do, your always gonna be the wrong one—"

"Wait, wait, wait. Your also wrong. Your both wrong—"

"So you the right one?" Toni asked raising her voice. "Oh yeah because I forgot you've always been the perfect child. The good one. No problems huh?" Toni asked leaning forward.

"And you." Toni said pointing at Beyoncé. "Why are you here. What's the real reason?" Toni asked threw gritted teeth.

"I came to get you two. I missed you guys—"

"I didn't miss any of you. So I have no fucking clue why yall are even here." I said furiously.

"And didn't I tell you to leave me alone and that I never wanted to see you again?" I questioned Toni.

"Your so dumb. You've honestly been blinded by love haven't you?" Toni questioned me.

"I'm in love. But what about you huh?" I asked rudely snapping with my attitude.

"This isn't worth it. This fight isn't worth it. Why can't we just fix things between us—"

"Shut up Beyoncé!" We both yelled at her. "Why don't you just go back to your Lilly white friends over in Los rich Angeles." Me and Toni said in unison.

She backed up and grabbed the handle of her suitcase.

"I don't know why I came here. I took a damn flight just to see the two woman I love the most. But you guys are so fucking rude!" She yelled furiously.

Wiping away her tears and picking up her handbag.

"You two are fucking spoiled sluts." She said, walking away from us.

We gasped as we both turned to face her.

"You know what." Beyoncé said sniffing turning around to face us. "You two think I live in such a fancy big rich lifestyle when all along... You two haven't been the best sisters at all. We could've been sharing my wealth."

"I–don't–want–a–dim–from–you." Toni slowly said, making sure we both took in her hurtful words.

"You've been removed from my heart." Toni said, throwing her handbags sling over her shoulder.

"And you. Your being abused but your so in love that you don't even see the problems in your relationship anymore." She said to me.

"I have my own goddamn problems to be worried about. Not y'all's." Toni said, walking past Beyoncé.

"Tell my niece and my nephews that I love them." Toni said.

I spun around and headed up my stairs for my door.

"Chelsea's dead." Beyoncé said.

Causing me and Toni to stop in our tracks.

Beyoncé
My tears began to run down my cheeks as I tried hard not to have an emotional breakdown.

My family was falling apart. We kept arguing. We were never like this. We loved one another so much... We were even willing to die for one another.

My sisters were so caught up on the fact that I was living the it life. They didn't see that behind all my hard work was my pain and regret.

"What?" They both asked in unison.

I watched as Toni slowly turned around and faced me as a few tears ran down her face. I looked away at Tamar and she sat down on the door step and ran her hands over her teary face.

"Why didn't you tell us this sooner?" Toni asked.

"Were you gonna care?" I asked with fume evident in my tone. "No." I said yanking my arm away from Toni's hand. "Don't feel pity for me now. Treat me the same way that you just did." I cried, I pulled my suitcase.

"I knew I would waste my time coming to look for yall." I said, as tears ran down my face.

"But instead I followed my heart, not my brain..."
