Toni
I handed the driver thirty dollars and got out the cab. I grabbed my bag as I looked up at the building.

He was about to get a handful of my fume. I gritted my teeth and took one last glimpse of his large office window.

"You just wait and see." I mumbled to myself.

Before I decided to take the first few steps.

Allowing the receptionist to let me go and see him wasn't any easy but a few lies helped me a lot.

I came storming into Jeff's office.

Just to witness this shit before me. He slapped Tamar across her face, causing me to run towards them. He noticed me and threw his office chair in front of me, having me hit the door behind me.

"What are you doing you asshole?" I yelled as I asked.

"Take another step and she gets it. I swear I would throw her out this window." He said, smirking.

Pointing at the large window behind them. I took a step further hoping he wouldn't notice but he did.

"Take another step. And you will get it." He gritted his teeth.

"Toni." Tamar cried.

He grabbed her by her hair and smirked.

"You little bitch." He smirked, "kiss me." He said to Tamar.

"Let her go!" I yelled.

Tamar kept her eyes on me as tears streamed down her face, as he pulled her into him and kissed her.

"Fuck–you." I said slowly making sure he took in each and every single word.

I couldn't keep this up. He kept on holding her by her hair. Before he yanked her towards me. Having her stand behind me.

"You animal!" I yelled, throwing a yellow vase at him.

"Toni!" Tamar yelled at me.

I spun around to face her.

"Tamar..." I trailed off.

Tamar
"What are you doing?" I squealed as I rushed towards Jeff.

"Do you want to kill him?" I asked, furiously looking up at her.

I bent down to Jeff and lifted his head up. He was unconscious.

"Are you sick?" I screamed looking at her in shock. "You've gone completely psycho!" I yelled at her.

"I have not gone psycho. That man over there is the reason why your always in pain—"

"Shut up Toni! Shut up!" I yelled, waving her off. "I love this man. Your my sister." I wiped my tears away. "You just tried to kill him. Do you want me to suffer again?" I asked glaring at her.

"No." She said calmly, breathing heavily. "Leave Toni. Just leave. I don't want to see you again. Just leave again! Like you did the other hundred times." I cried, rocking an unconscious Jeff in my lap.

I sniffed looking down at him. He was dying. She tried to kill him.

"Once again you don't care what happens to the people I love. Just like when mom died. You weren't there for me and Beyoncé. You left. You didn't come back. Until a few years ago."

"I didn't leave—"

"Your right," I said looking up at her and gritting my teeth, "you ran from your problems." I glared at her.

"I was trying to save you from getting anymore hurt—"

"Liar!" I yelled, "just go." I said barely above a whisper. "Leave!" I screamed.

She looked at me for a few more minutes before turning around and leaving out Jeff's office.

I got out the cab and handed the driver a fifty dollar bill. I looked around at the buildings. New York! I sighed, grabbing my suitcase and pulling it along the sidewalk.

Where was I gonna find my sisters? I thought to myself.

I took a deep breath, just then my gold iPhone 6s rang. I searched threw my handbag and took out my phone.

It was my dad. Thank God! He would be able to help me.

"Daddy." I said sighing of relief.

"Hey." He said threw the call as I walked further down the sidewalks. "Your just the person I needed." I said.

"How's New York?" He asked. "It's cold. Extremely cold." I shivered a little, pulling my jacket closer towards my breast.

He chuckled. "Have you found your sisters yet?" He asked curiously.

I heard shuffling in the background and sighed, dropping my shoulders a little.

"No. I don't even know where to begin to look." I said, shrugging my shoulders pulling my suitcase behind me.

"Try this place..."

I walked up the few stairs and looked around at the apartments windows and door making sure it was the right place my father had described to me.

The apartment number was right, I knocked a few times before ringing the doorbell.

I heard a few footsteps coming closer towards the door, "who is it?" She asked.

I didn't answer, I placed my hand over the peephole. I heard her sigh lightly before the doorknob turned open.

She sniffed, and pulled the door open.

"You. What are you doing here?" My baby sister Tamar asked, shocked.

"I came to see you." I said.

"Well I don't wanna see you. At all. Not after what happened." Tamar said rudely closing the door in my face.

"Tamar!" I shouted, banging on her door. "Go away! I never wanna see you!" She shouted back at me.

"But I wanna see you. I wanna fix things between us." I said, as a tear left my eye.

"Beyoncé." I heard a familiar voice say.

I slowly turned around and saw... "Toni," I said barely above a whisper.
