"a car accident" Jake said with his bright blue eyes staring at me.

"I so sorry"

"Don't be, it was their fault."

I sat there confused when he told me.

"I had just turned 14 and my parents went out to drink. they were on their way back drunk out of their minds when they flew of the road into a nearby lake and they drowned"

He started crying so I gave him a hug and leaned in for a kiss on the cheek. He turned his head and our lips touched.

I don't now why but I ran away, sort of. I ran five bookshelves away and hid. I saw Jake walk by smiling. I thought I wanted this. We are supposed to be together at least in my head. by the looks of it he wanted it too.

I went home before seeing him again. I didn't know what I wanted. He was that guy,......... the guy that everyone wanted. Everyone. He would never choose me. Nobody ever chooses me,

During class the next day, I was handed a note. It was from Jake, and he wanted me to meet him at the same spot as yesturday. I went telling myself to forget everything that happened, but he didn't want me to.

He kissed me again this time by suprise, but I didn't stop him. His lips pulled away from mine just enough for me to ask him.

"Why me?"

He answer with," Why not?" just before kissing me again. It seemed like he wanted this just as much as I did.

We walked out of the library holding hands, all my friends seeing me and holding their thumbs up. I was loving this even more because they didn't believe that I would date a guy like him.
