Chapter 14: Realization
The next couple of days went well. There was no problems with Edward except for the fact that my kids forgive their father instead of feeling the hatred I feel for him, but i understand that they haven't known him as long as i have, so they dont feel the pain i feel. None of its because my heart was broken, no, it is because he left me to supposedly protect me, but instead when he comes back he expects me to be there waiting for him. Um, no, I dont think so. Im not going to sit on my butt all my life and take care of MY kids while waiting for him.
After the whole scene in the meadow, i realized who i truly love and want to spend the rest of my life with. It isn't Edward, no it is Demetri. He has been there through all the trouble I've been in, all the problems I had, all the pain Edward caused me, and all the pain through birth. He was there through thick and thin. I dont want Edward back, no, i want the opposite, but for my kids I'll let him see them. I wont let him try anything with me because i love Demetri and that will never change.
