Over thinking may not be so bad if you limit the thoughts and made sure you were thinking about the right things. Let's say you were in a situation where your loyalty was tested between two people you truly loved. You could possibly over think about: how you would be affected if you stayed neutral or chose a side, how they each might feel if you chose a side, and/or how wrong or right each of them are in the matter. The selfish choice would be to only think how you as a person would be affected. Also, at the opposite end of that is only thinking about the feelings and effects it would have on everyone but yourself. Then, thank goodness, there is a middle way between each of them. To be able to think about yourself and others at the same time while trying to make a smart decision is hard, at least for me it is. I very much hope that I can find the middle point between each of them, before I make a decision that I can't undo.
**So that may or may not have sounded like I was preaching or giving advice, but it wasn't meant to. This is not that kind of book. This is literally just a book of my thoughts everyday, and that was one of them. I don't expect anyone to read this, but if you do and disagree with anything I said please remember: no one is forcing you to read this thing. So if you don't like what I have to say, by all means, don't read this rant book.**
