It was a normal day in the kingdom like always everyone is busy doing work, cleaning, or other things. But today was the princesses birthday today. But she may not be very excited as people may think. Today the princess is turning 17 years old. Almost old enough to be a queen.
"Jamie dear!, wake up please you're going to be late!" The queen shouted. "Ugh five more minutes please? What's so important today?" She said as she yawned. " well, if you don't care that you're going to be late to you're 17th birthday party then fine, sleep." "Wait....WHAT?! Oh man!, how could I forget geez!" She said as she hopped out of bed and running to her closet. "Oh jamie relax it was the only way to wake you up!, you're party doesn't start till 8:00 tonight." Her mother said with a big smile. Jamie gave her mother a look and then turned her head to her wooden sword that was lying on her clothes pile in her closet. "Jamie, you know what me and you're father said about this warrior business." She said. "I know, I know. I'll clean it up before the party starts don't worry". She said as she was picking up all the fighting posters. " well...,.alright just be ready and wear your crown!". Her mother shouted as she left the room.
As jamie cleaned her room she thought to herself wondering if she can persue her dream of becoming a warrior. As a child she was always fascinated by how people fight with swords and how they are hero's. But for jamie it may seem impossible because she was born into royalty to become a queen. Jamie looked at the clock as the clock arms slowly turn towards the next hour.
