Chapter 7

Darla's POV

Omg. i don't know what hit me but it was like a rush of adrenaline. i just felt the need to hug him. ugggh he probably thinks im an idiot after all i did walk away pretty fast after. couldnt help it though.

i walked into the studio to be welcomed by kevvy and jessica. never met them but even before i got this job i enjoyed their music

" hey im darla" i smiled and held out my hand to kevvy instead i got a bear hug "Yay! new zombie friend!"

" haha yup"

jessica also hugged me

" haha well finally theres some girls besides me and kate in the studio"

well i guess im welcomed.

jessica started the session with just her vocals then me and kevvy mixed this sick tempo as well as beat. this was gunna be a awesome track.

after two or three hours we called it quits. We cleaned and locked up the studio and as we were walking down the hall there was matt, mike and josh. i was still kinda embrassed about earlier. aw fuck. hes gunna say something. kay just play cool. or idk say sorry? ummm.uuhhh. ok just go with the flow.

"OMG MATTY!" kevvy ran to matt

me and jessica walked up to mike and josh

"how was the meeting?" i said

"ehh idk ask him" mike pointed to josh and walked away with a grin. uhhhh wtf.

" yeaah you know it was pretty good" josh grinned as well. somethings definetly up.

"i thought you said meetings are boring?" jessica added

"yea well this one was pretty good" josh smiled

"uhhh well ok then anyways im off, see ya" she turned to hug me then started walking but stopped

"oh darla wait! we need to exchange numbers!" she ran back to me and we gave each others number. then she left

then mike said" hey us three are off too matt was promised the bay so-"

"FUCK YAAAH!" matt cut in and gave a give hug to all of us and ran to his car.

" uhhh. anyways yeah so if you wanna come too you can

" uhhh surree i dont have any other plans" i replied

"kay im in too then" josh added

mike and kevvy walked to matts car as he honked the horn. me and josh walked to his and then i stopped him

"can i drive?" i actually wanted to race matt and i didnt trust josh to win.

"uuhh sure why not be careful of my baby "

" well apparently everything you own is your baby" i said as i caught his keys he passed to me

" not everything that hoodie i gave you for example" he grinned

i held back my idiotic smile. really. he went there.

"yeah i guess so" i said

as we pulled up to the exit we were waiting to turn and so was matt and them. i revved the engine

" are we racing them?!" josh asked sounded axnious and excited

all i did was grin at him. the light went and i turned sharp and shifted gaining me automatic first

"hell yeah!" i laughed

"woot woot!!" josh screeched

i turned on the radio and it was bennie and the jets

"omg i love this song" josh started singing hes got a really nice voice so i didnt mind.

" come on sing too!!!" josh begged.

should i? i never sing in front of people. especially those like josh. well he asked. "b-b-bennie and the jets ooh they're werid and they're wonderful---" we started to harmonize and then the song finished.

"wow you've got an amazing voice" josh said

" yeah uhh not bad for the shower type" i said sarcastically

"no actually im dead serious" josh added

" well thanks" i smiled

he grinned back

we got to the mall and we had to wait for the rest of them. josh got out first giving me a second to take it in. he wasn't like tom (ex). he was dead serious he didn't mind my singing. he said it was amazing.... i dont know whats next .. maybe something will happen to us...maybe bringing us closer ....
