Aspen and hazel,
Willow and oak.
Birch and maple,
The forest they cloak.
Giant, tall fig trees
In the jungle are found.
With long hanging vines
That reach to the ground.
The thorny acacia
Looks like an umbrella.
Food for giraffes,
But no other fella.
Mangroves in water,
Palms on a beach.
Dates in the desert,
Just out of reach.
The trees are all growing
Up towards the sky.
Spreading their roots,
And reaching high.
