Flowers ( Sugawara x Daichi)

The dark starry sky loomed over town as everyone was dressed in kimonos and regular clothes, as the streets were decorated in lights. Everyone was enjoying playing games, talking to family, their lovers or just taking in all joyful atmosphere, Out of the crowd was a certain silver-haired 3rd  year, Sugawara Koshi.

Sugawara sighed as he looked at his calendar on his phone as he walked out of a flower shop. Today was New years eve and a certain 3rd year wing captain's birthday. Sugawara gripped the bouquet of flowers he got from the shop and continued to walk in hurried steps. He reached an apartment complex and walked up the stairs to reach his destination. His heart started pounding as he reached the door of one and only Daichi Sawamura. Suga sighed and straightened his back then proceeded to ring the doorbell. He heard faint footsteps coming towards the door in hurried steps. The door opened to show a smiling boy with dark brown hair and eyes, wearing a plain black t-shirt and some sweatpants. The boy smile widened as he saw Sugawara standing on the other side of the door. "Hi, Suga," He said in a cheery voice, stepping to the side to allow the boy in. Suga smiled at his nickname and walked in, taking off his shoes at the doorway. "Yo, Daichi," He said with a smile, blushing as he held put the bouquet of flowers. 

"I-I didn't know what to get you so I got you this," He stuttered out with pink dusted across his cheeks. He smiles his closed-eyed smile "Happy birthday, Daichi," Daichi looked at the boy while pink dusted across his cheeks as well. He took the flowers and smiled at the boy "Arigato, Suga," He said and embraced Suga while kissing the boys forehead. Suga's blush deepened and hugged back. They pulled away and made their way to the living room, where food have been set out. Suga's stomach rumbled at the sight of food and blushed while chuckling nervously. Daichi chuckled and sat down at the table while patting the spot next to him for Suga to sit. Suga sat crossed legged and looked at Daichi. Daichi grabbed some plates and handed one to Suga, then started to fill his plate with food. Suga grabbed his plate and started doing the same. The two boys chatted happily, enjoying each others company. 

The other volleyball players couldn't come due to plans they made ahead of time, causing them to either be out of town or spending time with family. Daichi's and Suga went to America to experience New Years there and tried to persuade the two males to join but failed. They didn't mind for not spending time with family, they were satisfied just by each others company. After eating, they started washing dishes and then relaxed on the couch, waiting for the countdown to a new year. It was 11:59 and everyone grew tense, awaiting the count down.

Suga looked at Daichi and smiled "What do you want to start fresh on this new year?" He asked waiting for a response.

Daichi chuckled and looked at the boy with a soft smile. "I hope to clean up old slates and forget all the messed things that have happened. All so try extra hard for us to make it to the nationals and not have the name of 'the flightless crows' anymore" He exclaimed looking at the clock.

Suga chuckled and poked Daichi's side. "Same here, remember, it's not all about trying, it's believing in one another to achieve those goals." He said with a smile and leaned closer to Daichi, his hand on his chest.

Daichi's breath hitched as the other boy drew closer towards him, as a blush dusted his cheeks. He started into Suga's lighter brown eyes, feeling weak as if they were kryptonite.

"Suga" he whispered as the gap between the slowly became smaller. Daichi can feel Suga's breath tickle his lips and his blush deepened. Suga looked him in the eyes and smiled, blushing as well. "I love you, Daichi," He said and closed the gap, softly kissing the other male.

Fireworks went off in the sky, different colored lights littered the sky through the window of the apartment. Bathing the two males in their colors and lights. The two pulled away slightly panting but smiled at each other. Daichi put a hand on Suga's cheek while looking into his eyes once again. "I love you too, Suga," He said and kissed the boy, with a much-needed need for him. Suga's eyes widened but soon closed as his kissed him back, savoring his touch, taste, everything. Their lips moving in sync as if it wasn't their first time kissing one another. Suga licked the bottom of Daichi's softly, asking for entrance. Daichi's heart pounded faster and harder in his chest as he parted his lips, allowing Suga to roam freely in his mouth. He shivered as he felt Suga's hot tongue move around his and gave out a soft moan. Suga shivered as he heard Daichi moan and pulled away, kissing his forehead, nose, cheeks, and neck. Daichi savored every touch and opened his eyes while releasing a little moan as he felt lips on his neck. Suga pulled away and cradled Daichi, putting his forehead against his with a smile. Daichi smiled back and looked out the window. The two cuddled next to each other, watching the remaining of the fireworks go off into the night.
