My Little Swan Princess

Chapter 7

Back in the abandoned kingdom, Fluttershy, Scootaloo, Spike, and Applejack were talking about what happened before. "So, let me get this straight. You mean to tell me that every night when the moonlight leaves the lake, you turn into an alicorn?" Scootaloo asked. Fluttershy nodded, and said "That's right. The following night, if I want to turn back into a pegasus, I have to be on the lake." Spike scoffed, and said "All she needs is a little moonlight. Me? I have to be smooched." "No fear." Scootaloo said "You fly to your prince, we bring him back to the lake, the moon comes up, you'll change into a princess, and it's a happily ever after for the both of you." "How do we find him?" Fluttershy asked. "You don't know where he is?" Scootaloo asked. "I don't even know where I am." Fluttershy said. Applejack pointed at the castle, and said "Ah bet he does." "Oh that's a great idea." Spike said sarcasticly. "Just say: Mr. Discord, I'd like to leave now, do you have a map or something?" Fluttershy gasped, and said "That's it!" "A map!" Scootaloo and Fluttershy said at the same time. Spike shrieked, and covered his mouth as he realized that he shouldn't have said anything. "I'll fly to the castle, and look for the map." Fluttershy said as she flew away. She arrived at the castle, and looked in every window until she found the map hanging on the wall in the upper chamber. She flew down to her friends, and said "It's hanging on the wall. In the upper chamber."

Scootaloo looked at Spike, and said "Fluttershy can keep a look out while we get the map." "We?" Spike asked raising an eyebrow. "You're not going to help us?" Scootaloo asked. "That's right." Spike said. "I'm not helping out with this plan! It's suicidal!" "Ya'll don't have a choice, sugarcube." Applejack said as she and Scootaloo began dragging Spike with them. As Fluttershy flew off, Spike struggled, and said "Don't, stop it! Stop it! Don't!" Moments later, Scootaloo, Applejack, and Spike arrived at the castle, opened the front door, and looked around. Once they knew the coast was clear, Scootaloo said "All right, quickly." "Easy for you to say." Applejack said as they went inside the castle. When the door caught Applejack by her tail, she said "Ouch!" Scootaloo and Spike ran to Applejack, and as they helped her get her tail unstuck, Spike muttered "Whenever I have to do something quick, I always bring an earth pony!" They got Applejack's tail out of the door, and they went up the stairs to the armory. Applejack suddenly flinched from the pain, and said "Ah think Ah pulled a muscle, ya'll." "I'm gonna die! I knew it!" Spike said as he began to panic. "I'm on a dangerous mission with a lame pony!" He suddenly got angry, and said "You're gonna get us all killed!" He hit a suit of pony armor, and it almost fell on him, but Applejack and Scootaloo caught it, and placed it back in positon.

Twilight Sparkle heard the noise from her room while she was studying, and took a candlestick holder with her to investigate the noise, but she got distracted when Fluttershy tapped on some windows to get her attention. Spike reached the upper chamber, and was surprised to see Applejack who said "Beat ya'll." Scootaloo opened the window to see Fluttershy there who said "Did you get the map." "I'm on it." Scootaloo said as she went up to the wall, and took down the map. She tried to give the map to Fluttershy, but Twilight Sparkle telported to the upper chamber with her magic, and said "Oh no you don't!" Scootaloo screamed in terror. "Yikes!" Applejack said. "Head for the door!" Scootaloo said as she, Applejack, and Spike ran for the door, but Twilight Sparkle blocked their path. They then got into a huddle as Scootaloo said "All right, Spike goes deep, Applejack gets the hoof-off. Ready?" Spike and Applejack nodded, and they said "Break!" Twilight Sparkle titled her head in confusion as she said "Huh?" They got into position as if they were playing hoofball, and Scootaloo said "Set. Hut hut!" Applejack passed the map to Scootaloo as Spike ran off, and she was about to pass it to him, but Twilight Sparkle was coming towards her. She tossed it to Applejack, and Spike said "I'm open! I'm open!" Applejack tossed the map to Spike, and he caught it as he said "Haha!"

Suddenly Twilight Sparkle took the map from Spike, and tossed him to Scootaloo as she hit him with a tennis racket as if she was playing tennis as she said "Catch that map!" Spike screamed as he flew, and took the map from Twilight Sparkle who chased after him. He jumped a couple of times, and jumped off the edge. He screamed as he fell, but Applejack swung in from a rope, and saved him as she said "Saved ya'll." They landed softly on the ground, and Spike screamed when he saw Twilight Sparkle running towards them. He ran to Scootaloo, and gave her the map as he said "Reach!" "Hey, batter batter batter." Applejack said as Twilight Sparkle picked up a broom with her magic, and prepared to swing. Scootaloo threw the map, and Twilight Sparkle swung at it, but she missed as Applejack caught it. Scootaloo cheered, and said "Oh, the crowd's going wild!" Twilight Sparkle tried wacking Applejack with the broom, but missed each time. Scootaloo dumped water on the floor, and they began fighting for the map as if they were playing hockey. Twilight Sparkle pushed Scootaloo to a wall, and fired her shot. Spike screamed and ran for his life, but then he was lifted onto Applejack. They turned around, and they went past Twilight Sparkle. They picked up Scootaloo, and they slid down the stairs as Twilight Sparkle chased after them.

They flew up in the air, and Twilight Sparkle crashed into a wall while Spike, Applejack, and Scootaloo crashed through a window. Spike used the map like a parachute as Applejack said "Save me!" Scootaloo saved Applejack, and they crash landed on the ground. Spike gasped in terror when he saw Gummy and Gummette below him, and he tried to blow some air into his map-like parachute. Gummy and Gummette tried to attack Spike, but Fluttershy flew in, and saved him. After that, they went onto dry land, and Fluttershy looked at the map. She pointed at Canterlot, and said "There's Butterscotch's kingdom. When do we leave?" Applejack rubbed her head to sooth the pain, Spike stood there feeling dizzy, and Scootaloo groaned in pain.
