Julianne's POV
Okay. I just need to take a deep breath. Let's just think about this as left brained as possible. Today I'm going to the Left Society. Today my life will be completely turned around. Today I will never be the same because I'm leaving my family for an unknown world where I won't make any friends because I'm a right brained person!
This clearly isn't working! I have an hour before I actually need to be at the gates. Maybe I can just walk around. Take in as much of my world as I can; I won't be able to for another month.
I run out of the house, not even bothering with putting on the other shoe, and just keep running around my neighborhood. I don't even care that I'm up before dawn and that I'm still in my pajamas; neither does anyone else.
I continue to run blindly and I somehow find myself at the wall where the crack is. With all of my nerves going haywire, I step up to that small hole and finally take a peak.
