Elizabeth had heard of her cousin's return to Scotland. The battle for the crown of England has only begun. Mary, being the granddaughter of one of Henry the VII's sisters, had the blood of the Tudors and right to claim the English throne. To Elizabeth, losing her crown was like losing your head. She couldn't bear it. She's struggled her whole life to finally sit on the throne and wear the crown. She wasn't going to allow her Scottish cousin to take it from her. It was for her by the will of her dead half sister, Mary Tudor. The again, Elizabeth had to lie to her dying sister to achieve her goal. Many English men wanted to get rid of her. She wasn't catholic and her cousin, Mary was. "Mary will not ever lay claim to my throne". The red head queen said to herself. England was her country, her power and no one will ever take it from her. Nor a king or queen will take what she had always wanted. The crown of England. Queen Elizabeth Tudor was the rightful heir of Henry the VIII. No one can say otherwise
