"You not taking the tools?" I pointed to her bag. She shook her head no, I looked at her for a minute and shrugged.

I guess she good for one night, if not her running and ducking games better be on 10 cause ya girl is runnin and ducking the first GLAW I hear.

"I look cute?"She ran over her outfit again.

"You trynna impress that midget or that French frie."I said and she bust out laughing.

"Bitch them my kids" she waved me off.

I laughed,  "but maneski can get it" she flipped her hair..

"His ugly ass I'm tryna ride bibby white ass till the sun come up. Then herb box head ass can eat this poopoo ya feel me?" I joked

"Bitch you fuckin' the bros" she shook her head laughing.

"She get on my nerves" I laughed at redd tryna bopp with ely. Ely was fucking it up but redd looked a mess but you know they was gassing her up.

Tay was dancing with some shorty. While Roy was shooting dice with some of the no lims.

I observed the block full of people and saw my new friend that I served for tay. He was talking to 2 shorties. But couldn't conversate with me doodoo head ass.

I just was smoking on that tooka that thotman gave me. Fuck this shit I wanted some motherfucking jojo coleman ya know.

I was chilling tho while everybody was lit. I just be chilling like some times my mind drift off somewhere and just think about my struggle.

This wasn't no cliché story when it came to my life. You know how everybody think just cause you know famous people or whatever that you getting money and shit. Shit I'm living in the motherfuckin struggle. Let's be real tho who momma out her gone get them everything they want and need just off of one job. my dead beat daddy don't fucking help but ion like to think about shit like that much. It ain like I'm broke cause compared to some people down the block I'm bless you feel me.

This lifestyle is just sad but that o'block shit in me. All these homicides, mommas crying,  drugs that shit is who the fuck I am. That's what I grew up in, I wasn't no pussy sitting on the fucking porch once I came off the porch it was over with.

The teachers telling me I wouldn't be shit. At first it didn't bother me but hearing that all my life be making me start to believe it.

"FUCK!" somebody screamed I was cutt out my thoughts by screaming and tires screeching. I shook my head the night I left my tools really? Bullets were clapping. I jumped off the hood of the car I wasn't fazed I laughed as I watched shorty fall trying to run.

The black truck was rolling down the street and firing all the shots it could.

I sucked my teeth when a bullet flew right through my thigh. "That shit just hurted like a bitch" I said calmly.

"Girl come on like how old is you?" Meanie picked me up throwing me over his shoulder.
I opened my eyes when I lifted my head up. The car sped off but that didn't stop me from noticing the body laying on the sidewalk.

"Put me down!" I snapped once I recognized the custom pink air force ones.

"is you crazy?!"

"Yes now let me go" I said he put me down sucking his teeth.

I ran over there even though I was starting to not feel my leg. I pushed her hair out her face.

"Shit vee get up" I tried to sit my Lil cousin up. My cousin vee was only 15 g. She was from out east tho, this was my Lil baby when she came around. She only came around when she could cause she was going through some shit at home.

"Vee" I slapped her face lightly. I felt people started to come back over here.

"Maranda who is that?" Redd asked walking over

She looked at the body and gasped,  "come on we gotta get her to the hospital" I tried to pull up her lifeless body but my leg was in so much pain my eyes watered but I didn't shed a tear.

"Tootie she gone" herb said

"no she not she just need to go to the hospital that's all she gone be fine right vee" I glanced down at her face her eyes were wide open and tears ran out of them.

"She gone Tootie we gotta go" Roy said grabbing me when we heard sirens.

"She Not Dead If yall wanna go bye" I Continued To Try To Wake Her up.

He sighed and took a seat next to me.
