"So the recital is this upcoming friday, you gonna help me practice?" Tegan asked watching me place my books and other belongings into my locker.
"Can't," I spoke. "Too busy, I've got tests to study for, vocal pitches to memorize, my own ballet solo to practice to perfection, I have to go home and fill out college applications and not to mention I have to make dinner,"
Groaning Tegan threw a little tantrum before sulking away probably to go hang up under Tommy somewhere.
Sighing I closed my locker and looked down at my phone seeing I had a text from Trevor.
Trevor:
Meet me in the auditorium.Looking at the time I had about 25 minutes before I had to be in my next class so I didn't think twice before replying a quick 'K'.
Wait what does K mean? What if he thinks I'm mad at him or that I don't really want to come?
Panicking I swiftly typed and sent 'on my way be there in a jiffy'
Hitting myself in the head I wanted to vanish. Who the heck still says Jiffy?
Stuffing my phone into my back pocket I started making my way to the auditorium and it didn't take me long to get there.
It was dark as midnight once I stepped in, not a single light was on and nor did I hear anybody.
"Trevor?" I called pulling out my phone to use it's flash light.
"Yeah?" He called back but I couldn't tell from which direction.
"Can you turn on the lights?" I asked. "You know, us humans can't see in the dark,"
Snickering I heard him move around before the place came alive the lights were so bright.
"Who says I'm human?" He smirked as he sat on the stage and patted the space next to him so I could come to sit.
Walking over I didn't sit I just stood in front of him, not wanting to get closer than we needed to be.
"I used to believe, we were burning on the edge of something beautiful...."
I couldn't help but be shocked when I heard his voice. Peter was right, he sounded amazing.
"Well are you just gonna stare at me or finish the song?" Trevor laughed breaking me from my trance.
"Oh sorry!" I said already feeling my cheeks heat up, he made me blush more than I have ever done in my lifetime. It's quite astonishing honestly.
"Something beautiful," I continued trying to match his pace. "Selling a dream, smoking mirrors keep us waiting on a miracle..."
"You sound-" Trevor paused as if he was trying to come up with a word to say. "Fantastic, wow"
Smiling I did I little bow which made him grin.
"Thank you, thank you," I added flipping my hair over my shoulder.
"Can your ego get any bigger?" He laughed hopping down from the stage and walking towards me.
"Actually, it can-"
My phone cut me off as I got a call from Seb.
Looking at Trevor before answering I saw that he peeped the caller ID aswell and it made him step backwards like I wouldn't notice.
"Hello?" I answered but he didn't respond back.
"Come on she won't even find out," I heard a background voice say which caught my attention right away.
