Trevor led me to his office which was huge and majestic like everything was imported from Spain.
Even his decor pens looked as if they cost more then I could ever afford.
Looking to the walls I could see another door that blended in nicely if you were staring too hard but it had a lock on it which made me wonder what was inside.
"I kinda need you over here," Trevor spoke snapping me from my thoughts.
Making my way over to where Trevor was at his computer typing dangerously fast I peered over his shoulder and saw that he was searching through millions of files at once. Anything with Dayna's name popping up within seconds.
"Here!" He called pointing to the screen as he stopped searching.
Bringing myself closer to read what he was talking about my eyes stopped on 'Dayna 1375'.
Literally shoving him out of the way I took his seat and began scrolling.
I was silent for a while because I didn't understand what I was reading.
"What the hell is this Trevor?" I barked at him. "Are you serious?" I said getting up from his seat.
Pointing towards the screen just as he did moments ago I frowned. "You dragged me down here out of school for Dayna's... Dayna's grocery list?"
"What?" He cooed hopping into the seat and looking over the paper with the same exact 'what the hell' expression I had.
"This must mean something," He fuzzled his eyebrows together as if doing that would give him all the answers he needed. "Dayna wouldn't write 1375 for you to see and it just leads us to a damn grocery list,"
"Or," I chimed in. "I wrote the note when I was half sleep and mixed up Dayna with some math problem and the eggs on her grocery list are just eggs,"
"Couldn't be," He said. "You rarely ever sleep,"
"Excuse me?" I parted my lips in a thin line. Oh my god was he watching me too? Was anything I do safe around here?
"I can tell from the bags underneath your eyes," He said without even looking up. "Makeup can't hide it forever,"
Scoffing I quickly pulled out my phone to check if you could see the bags and he was kind of right they were getting too big to hide.
"You're still cute though don't worry," He cracked a side smirk as he continued to skim through the Dayna files.
"I thought you didn't like me," I said looking over his shoulder again. "The whole I could get you if I wanted you thing,"
"I knew you'd still be thinking about that," His smirk becoming a full blown smile.
Hitting him in the back of the head I ended the conversation with that as we both now looked at the files.
"Donuts, Apples, Yeast, Almonds , Bacon, Oatmeal, Xacuti?" I questioned the last item on the list.
Quickly clicking over to a new tab Trevor searched Xacuti but it turned out to just be a chicken soup dish.
Sighing loudly I turned my head a little and I kinda just stared at Trevor. I could see his eyes moving frantically across the screen and how his eyelashes fluttered and how the little vein on his forehead pulsed everytime he didn't get a answer.
His freshly shaved face gave it a smooth gentle look to it and I just wanted to touch it but wouldn't that be a little too weird?
Keeping my hands to myself I let my eyes travel down to his lips and boy was that I bad idea.
