Big Tall Wish

First Encounter

Author POV-

Years past by, Robin and John got married, and Raven grew up in a safe and comforting environment, thanks to The Grimm Reaper. They looked over her to ensure safety, occasionally letting accidents happen so she could learn from mistakes and grow up strong.

They grew to enjoy the thought of being 'supernatural big brothers' and protecting Raven. Madam Skylar would tell them what to do and give them Missions or Assignments on the regular, so they worked out a system. They would get Candice to pick a number and whoever was closer stayed to watch Raven.

They watched her at her tenth birthday party, when she was dunked under water, released all the air in her lungs, and didn't come up, no more air bubbles escaped her mouth or nose.

Laurent noticed first and quickly transported to the pool, undetected, and dove in to pull Raven towards his body. He then placed his hands on her stomach and her back and pushed them together and an air bubble escaped her parted lips and her eyes opened. She screamed underwater before Laurent placed a glowing light in her mouth and smiled as she calmed down and her cheeks filled with fresh air and now they can communicate with their minds.

R- You look awful familiar, who are you?
L- I'm here to help, swim up.
R- Who are you?
L- I'm your Protector, the last time you saw me was three years ago. Swim up, and I'll tell you the rest later.

And Little Raven kicked and swan back up, and no one glanced at the little girl bursting out of the water with panic and anxiety written on her frantic face, her mouth still shut. She looked back down for the man that had helped her, only to see the bottom of the pool. All of a sudden, she heard a voice whisper from beside her, "Look up, Little Raven, and let the Ball go.". She looked up and opened her mouth and witnessed the orb fly underwater, circle around her, and fly into the house, right through her window.

Raven POV-

"Raven, you're gonna be a big sister.", my mom announced after everyone left the party. I was still scared about what happened and I think it showed on my face cause mom looked at me with confusion. "What's wrong Raven? You're not happy?", her smooth raspy voice knocked me out of my thoughts and my eyes trained in on her disappointed ones. "No, mom, I am, I promise. I'm just exhausted, I'm gonna go ahead to bed. I love you.", I said as I hugged her and drug myself up stairs to my room.

"Hello, Little Raven. Remember us?"

As I turned around, I was met with the sight of The Grimm Reaper.
