Just A Dream

Larry POV-

I cradled her shaking body after she passed out crying and screaming about us not taking her family. I looked down at her distressed face and felt a deep remorse for what we did to her a few years ago. What did she see that made her faint like that? Like, she just collapsed all of a sudden.

"Lau, I told you it too soon to tell her, she no mature yet.", I told him and he shook his head in sadness. "I thought she was, Frere.", he sighed and rubbed her cheek with his thumb. I looked down at her tear streaked face and picked her up before softly placing her on her bed and tucking her in for the night. Suddenly, a soft whisper rang in our ears as we were about to leave back to Nirvana to consult with The Committee about Raven, "Big Tall Wish, please keep my parents safe. Big Tall Wish.", then we were whisked away by a mysterious wind and thrown in a dark room with The Committee.

"How dare you try to reveal yourselves to her?! She mustn't know who you are, not until she's lying on the verge of death. She might reveal us to the public. Because of you two, I had to have Nicola put Visions Of Death in her mind.", Madam Skylar lectured as The Committee fell silent at her authoritative voice and the loud slam that sounded as her palm hit the surface of the large charcoal black and shimmering silver painted mahogany wood that they were seated at. "We sorry, Madam Skylar. When I save her today, she wanted to know who I was.", Laurent apologized but the condescending look and tone in her voice didn't soften. "You shall not reveal yourselves to her! One of you, go back and wipe away her memory of your encounter!", her voice boomed throughout the spacious room before we were flashed to our room.

"Where were you guys?", we jumped slightly and turned around to see Monster laying on Lau's bed, the top bunk, and Candice laying on mine. "How you get in here?", Lau asked in surprise causing Candice to smirk a bit, "Larry's not the only one who can pick a lock.". I rolled my eyes and clicked my tongue at her. "Why you gotta throw me under the bus, I no do nothing to you.", I went over and mushed her head lightly before sitting down next to her horizontal frame. She crossed her eyes and did a terrible imitation of my accent that caused me to laugh, "Because, Lahree, I want to.".

After talking for about five minutes, Lau and I remembered the assignment Madam Skylar gave us. "Okai, Candi. Pick a number in one and one hundred. Whoever closer stay here... You got one?..... Okai, uhhh 48.", Lau said and I followed his response with a 75. "It was 65. Larry was closer.", Candice said snuggling into my back. "Do I look like a Teddy Bear to you, Candi?", I sighed and she nodded like a child and gripped my waist tight. Laurent started to float and a bright light spread throughout the room as his silhouette disappeared.

My eyes became heavy from drowsiness and my mind clouded with thoughts of sleep. Candi's grip on my waist loosened slightly as she fell under the spell of Serena and soon, Monster and I fell victim to the Lull of Serena's Serenade.

Lau POV-

My hand lingered above her forehead, reluctant to erase everything. Her shivering form whimpered under me as if she could sense my presence.

"Big tall wish, Don't take my family. Big Tall Wish.", again that voice whispered in my head. It took a second to register that the voice belonged to Raven, she was scared of us, her Protectors. Maybe this is better for her, it'll be like we were never here. Every trace of us would be erased and she'll never be like this again.

With a light sigh, I lightly placed my hand on her forehead before a rush of energy flowed through my palm and into Little Raven's head. Her body shone like a fragment of the Sun fell to Earth and dimmed down as all the pain caused by that incident three years ago vanished in her mind. Once the light was no longer present, I was ready to leave but as I turned around, a small voice was heard behind me, "Who are you?".

"I'm a dream Little Raven, go back sleep.", I told her before fading away into the darkness and returning to Nirvana.
