Chapter 2

I just wanted everyone to know that in each chapter it is Willows P.O.V unless said otherwise...

We reached Ashes house. And his parents were very happy to let me stay.

When I say happy I mean overly enthusiastic. Mrs. Walker was so excited to have me in her home. Mr. Walker was excited too but decided to show it less than his wife.

~~~TIME SKIP~~~ ****Just the next day****

It's Saturday. And Mrs. Walker informed me to call her Isabelle. Mrs. Isabella took me shopping and by shopping I mean all out. I swear to god she bought the whole mall. When we both got back to the car the trunk looked like it was weighed down... She has an SUV...  I tried to convince her just to go to Old Navy, but she wouldn't let me just go there. On the way home Mrs. Isabella asked me a bunch of questions.

"So what happened to your family?" Mrs. Isabella asked.

I froze. I knew she could tell if I was lying so I told her more than I had told Ash.

"My mother died when I was 8, and my father is now dead to me."

She pulled in the drive way and turned off the car.

"What happened to your father?"

I could answer for a moment. I didn't want to think about it. He was dead to me as far as i was concerned.

I took a deep breath. "He's the reason I'm here now. The reason I had to grow up too early in life. When my mom died, he started drinking really bad. I was only 8 at the time. He would come home late at night, and drag me out of bed, at first I just got spanked I always thought it was because I did something wrong. But one day I had asked why this was happening to me. I was slapped for it. At first I had tried to fight back but whenever I did he'd punch me and once I was on the floor, he'd kick me. One night he got so drunk that he was dead to the world. I was 14 so I decided to take my chance. I took 2,000 dollars from my mom's safe that surprisingly hadn't been touched my father. I got together a bag and I left. Every so often he would somehow manage to find me. I don't understand how he managed to find me but he did. It happened a few times over the past 2 years. This last time I had barely managed to get away." I take a shuddering breath, I look over to Mrs. Isabella and I see tears running down her face.

"Sweetheart that should have never happened. That was horrible." She leans over and hugs me. We hear tapping on the window. And I let out a surprised shriek. I turn and it's Mr. Alec and Ash I open the door and step out.

"Why were you guys in the driveway? You've been sitting out here for half an hour. What's wrong?" Mr. Alec says.

I re-tell Mr. Alec and Ash the story. And he pulls me into a hug. "You won't have to be alone anymore. Were your new family. Your father cannot get to you." I hug him tighter. "You don't have to do that for me.  Mr. Alec pulled back a bit. "Like hell I do. What kind of person would let that happen to a little girl?"

I gave him a smile. "Thanks for everything that you're doing."

He just smiled "Well welcome to the family sweet heart!"

My smile grew huge.

I have a family.
