What Happened...

My phone pings and I pick it up to see who would be texting me at this time of night.

Anonymous : I hope your ready Baby because your mine tonight! :)

Me: Piss Off you Creep!

I put my phone back on my bed and continue to read my book. It pings again and I pick it up because I don't like this creepy guy texting me.

Anonymous: I will see you tonight but Will you see me?

Me: I won't see you and you Won't see me.

I look at my other texts and notice one from my best friend Julie but I call her Jules.

Jules: Hey want to go out to the movies tonight with me and Oscar?

I think about the guy that was texting me earlier and question myself if I should go out tonight.  Screw it I have been in this house for far to long this summer.

Me: Yes I will! Can't wait to hang out again. It's been so long! :p

Jules: See you in a little bit!

Anonymous: See you tonight.

I get up disregarding what the last text was and put on my favorite romper and go downstairs and wait for Jules to get here. I go into the kitchen and make a little mac and cheese bowl and eat it before going out. I hear a honk from the front of the house and grab my house keys and head out. My phone pings and I am hesitant to pick it up.

Jules: Here! Let's Go!!

I smile when I see it's from her. I go out my front door and close and lock it behind me. I get in the car and we pull off down the street.

" So what movie are we seeing?" I ask.

" Mocking Jay Part 2! I can't wait to see it!" Jules says.

We pull up to the theater and there was a mob of people all in one place. We get out and we see that Josh Hutcherson the Actor that plays Peeta is there. I wonder what he is doing here in LA. I thought he was supposed to be in Orlando but I guess not. We just walk right past him not even giving him the time of day. But It feels like he is staring at me but I don't look I just keep my eyes forward and follow my friends. We get our tickets and we go to the theater with the super screen. Oscar and Jules share a Love Seat and I sit next to them in another one but the seat next to me is empty. As the movie starts playing someone sits in the seat next to me. I turn my head to see who it is and It's Josh Hutcherson out of all people.  I just stay as quiet as possible and don't stare at him.

" You want some popcorn?" Josh whispers to me.

"Um... Sure. Thanks." I say reaching into the bucket and taking a handful of popcorn. I can feel my checks turn red and I try to hide my face from him. It was easy seeing how we were in a dark theater.  I watch the rest of the movie eating Josh's popcorn and laying there trying to seem like I wasn't watching his every movement. The ending credits come on the screen.

" Good Movie or No?" Josh asks.

"We will just meet you out in the hall okay Hope?" Jules says.

"Sure thing" I tell her thinking to myself don't leave me alone with a total stranger.

" I thought there were some differences from the book to the movie but mostly everything was correct" I tell him.

" Oh, Your one of those people that reads the books then comes and sees the movie" Josh says.

" Yes I love to read. Do you like to read? Have you ever read the books?" I ask him.

" Yes I like to read and Yes I have read the books they sure helped me play my part!" He says.

I am now standing up ready to walk out and Josh's hand touches mine for a brief second and I feel this electricity run through my entire body. I try not to show it but it's pretty obvious. I walk out of the theater with Josh right behind me. 

"Hey Jules" I say to her.

" So did you want to go and grab some dinner before you go home?" She asks and I know she wants me to say no so her and Oscar can have some alone time.

" No, I will just call my mom to come pick me up." I tell her.

" Are you sure?" She asks.

" I am positive! Go have fun!" I tell her. She thanks me and heads toward the door. I pull out my phone to call my mom and I hear a kind of noticeable voice. I look at the guy talking to me and my heart just melts.

" I can take you home if you want. That way you won't have to bug your Mom." Josh says 

" Um.. Are you sure I mean it's okay If i have to call my mom." I tell him.

" I can give you a ride home. Let's go." He says.

As soon as we get out the theater doors there are camera flashes and very loud voices asking josh who I am and whats next for him. All of a sudden I feel electricity through my body again. It only takes me a few seconds to notice that Josh has grabbed my hand and pulling me through the crowd of reporters. I try to focus on where we are going and I get into a corvette and the door closes behind me. Then I hear the other door open and close right beside me.

" Is it always like that?" I ask.

" Pretty much besides when I try to lay low but that never works." He says.

He backs out and into the road.

" So where and I dropping you off?" He asks.

"5678 Hubert Street." I say.

" That's a horrible neighborhood. Sorry I have just heard bad things about that area of town. " He says.

" I know it's a bad neighborhood but It's home you know?" I tell him.

" I know what you mean. Are you sure you aren't hungry?" He asks.

" I am starving actually." I tell him.

" But you told your friends that you were not." He says.

" Jules, she just wanted to be alone with her boyfriend. I have been through this with her so many times I just know when she wants to be alone." I tell him smiling.

" So wheres your boyfriend on a night like tonight?" He asks.

" I um don't have a boyfriend." I tell him.

" Oh, well then where do you want to go for dinner? I am taking you out." He says.

" Like on a date? Culver's is my favorite restaurant." I tell him.

" Yes like on a date. I know you could feel the electricity between us too Hope. I'm not the only one or am I?" He says.

" No, I felt it too." I say.
