Chapter 14: Kyle, Alice AND Edward! How Does Maria Fit?

Bella POV

He laughs evilly on the other side. Isla scowls at the phone.

"Isabella so nice to speak to you. I presume you got my letter?" He asks. Serious, he's trying to do small talk.

"Spit it out!" I sneer. The Cullen's look worried as they listen.

"Say what? That your lucky you have the girl? That your lucky the vamps only know half your past? That you've only told them a little about the girl and its not even true? That your keeping something from Blondie, that he would find most interesting? Name your choice."

I was so going to rip his head off and Isla was going to help me with that. My eyes flicker to Jasper who was listening and watching me with curiosity and confusion.

"Shut up, jerk!" I growl. He laughs evilly.

"Why? They should know and I have a few people who would like to talk to you." I wait as he hands the phone to the next person.

"Bella." I about drop my phone.

"Edward! Freak, your with him?! You never do grow up do you? Taking over the world then killing your 'human' just isn't enough for you is it?" I sneer.

"Well your not really human now are you? And it's nice to speak with you again. Playing dumb with the family was getting tiering anyway." He says.

"Well it's not nice to speak to you. Now you can put Alice on the phone because I'm about ready to end this phone call." I snap. He grunts as he hands the phone to Alice.

"Heya Bella!" She says.

"Don't even try" I say.

"Oh come on. We're just taking over the world but we need you, your little friend and Jasper to do it." She says still perky. I growl.

"Over my dead body." I snap.

"Oh Bella, don't be like that. Oh got to go and by the way WHY'D YOU BURN MY FAVORITE PINK DRESS!!!?" She screeches.

"So wasn't that nice?" Asks Kyle.

"Oh ya wonderful. I can't wait to meet my doom." I say sarcastically.

"Isabella, you are so funny. You know we should have tea sometime. Don't worry Mr. Jerk know it all, can tell you when I'm sure." He laughs and I hear Peter growl.

"Go to hell!" I snap ending the call.

"He sure came from it." I hear Peter mumble after a couple seconds of silence.

Emmett snickers. I shake my head. Can't take them anywhere.

"Bella what was he talking about?" Jasper asks.

I bite my lip. I know I should talk about it but we have to deal with Kyle, Alice, and Edward.

'We have to deal with them first' I tell Peter. He nods.

'And Maria' He adds solemnly.

My heads snaps at that and I tense. Isla looks at me.

'Maria!' I practically yell at him.

He practically shrinks under the glare I give him. Throwing my hands in the air I let out a frustrated sigh.

"Bella?" Asks Jasper. I shake my head.

"I'd just love to tell you." I say sarcastically. "But," I start giving another death glare to Peter. "I have important stuff to deal with." The doorbell rings and with Isla in my arms I stalk to the door.

I fling it open and about attack the person at the door but stop.

"What da yer want Maria?" I growl.

I hear Peter come up behind me followed with Jasper. Not good. Her eyes flicker to both of them, lingering on Jasper before they come back to me.

"I'm here to help. Heard Kyle was near and was up for the fight." She says.

"Bout time ya learn English." I mutter.

"Ya what's in it for me?" I ask. She grins.

"I have an army. We can kill Kyle's army and you can kill Kyle." She says. I ponder.

"So ya've caught some our aliens eh?"I ask. She nods.

"Let the vamps go and train some aliens then turned 'em to vamps. Gave up on the vampire wars, Major." She says nodding at the surprised face of Jasper. Peter already knew.

"Fine bring em round back. Need ta check 'em myself." I huff and shut the door as Maria goes to collect probably half of Demlien.

I knew that's what happened to the ones that didn't come back. Course Maria was alien herself once until she was changed.

I swear to god the next thing I know I'm going to be opening the door to find Dracula trying to sell Count Dracula cereal or he needs help finding a hospital because he 'accidentally' killed Elmo.

I walk back into the living room with Jasper walking like a zombie in surprise.

"What happened?" Esme asks looking at Jasper worriedly. I look at him.

"Shock. Apparently it can happen to vampires." I say shrugging. "He'll snap out of it." Esme nods.

"So who was at the door?" Carlisle asks. I look worriedly at Jasper.

"Maria. She wants to help." I say. Rose snorts.

"The only thing she wants is Jasper." she says. I shake my head and smirk.

"I've changed her. She gets out of line she knows what happens." I say.

Rose looked oblivious but nods. Jasper finally snaps out of it after Isla pokes him in the gut and laughs.

"Isla!" I scold. She just grins.

"Sooooo what do we do now?" Emmett asks grinning.

"Emmett." I warn.

"Well we do have some extra time so lets play a game." He says excitedly.

Why me? I do not see this ending well and I don't need Magic-8ball to tell me that.

"Emmett, we can play a quick game but I have to make sure some vampires are trained and ready for this war. I have a feeling that's coming." I warn. He grins and starts jumping up and down on the couch.

"Just a quick one." he promises.

"Ok, so what do you want to play." I ask hesitant.

"How about..........Truth or Dare."

So what did you think??!! Do you think Maria's going to help or is it just a trick like Rose said? And what about the truth or dare game? how's that going to end?:)
