Ashy's P.O.V

I worked at a small coffee shop on the corner of Bridge street and Main, and i honestly loved It. I adored waking up in the morning, going to work, and getting the sweet and bitter smell of different varieties of teas and coffees. I had two co-workers that i held very dear to my heart. Bri Connor and Sky Winchester. Bri was one of my best friends threw Middle and High school, while Sky on the other hand had just met me six months ago when he started working here, but i still considered him a friend.

I had a little crush on him, to be honest, He was absolutely perfect. The way his untamed hair always looking like he just rolled out of bed, but it actually looked good on him. His clothing would consist of a band tee-shirt and ripped black skin jeans, and his face... Don't even get started on that beautiful face. Even if He barely ever showed his emotions to me I could always tell what he was feeling that day.

Today was a special day for me and my co-workers, for today was the day that my manager would pick one of us three to be his assistant and help run the coffee shop. The thought of getting that position was plastered on on mind, I was determined to get that job, but I'd have to compare to Sky and Bri, who were also great workers. During all this thinking I zoned out until Bri finally snapped me out of it.

"Ashy, Hey are you mind fucking the counter?"

I hear Bri blurt out, while everyone in the small shop looked at us two. I quickly slapped Bri's arm as she laughed and let out a soft sigh.

"No I'm just thinking about-"

"That position."

Sky said finishing my sentence as he was sweeping the floor outside the counter area. I instantly lost color in in face and looked down.

"Yeah." I replied, feeling kinda bad for wanting it so bad, knowing they wanted it just as much.

"Don't worry, Ashy! You deserve That job more than me so you'll just have to worry about Sky... Besides I couldn't believe the amount of paper-work Leo would make me fill out." Bri said slumping over as she said the last sentence. I giggled and smiled at her. She really was a great friend to have, even if She got on my nerves a bit at times.

I looked over at Sky and noticed he was over at a table talking to a strawberry blond girl and they seemed to be having a really nice conversation. The girl was nodding and giggling as I saw a smirk appear on Sky's face. I looked down about to throw up, I mean yeah it was only a little crush, bit I still liked the guy....

Bri took notice to my face expressions and grinned.

"Ashy~," She sang sweetly. "Do you have a crush on Sky?"

I snapped my head at her as fast as I could, but as I did I caused a pain in my neck, ignoring it I glare at Bri.

"Not a word."

Was all i said before turning around again and staring at Sky and the girl. I felt my chest tighten up and I was filled with anger. I have never felt this before, so it was all new to me. What was this... They called it something... Anger? No. Sadness? No... Ah jealousy.

That word rang In my head for a good while before thoughts clouded my mind.

'No I'm not jealous... I can't be... But seeing her with him is... It hurts.'

As I was thinking I didn't notice the strawberry-blonde leave. Sky walked back over to the counter and opened the little door. He stepped in and put the broom away.

"Yo, Ashy"

I quickly looked behind me. Sky was inches away from my face. I instantly blushed and looked into his blue-ish hazel orbs.
