Five

I wake up in pitch black. Not the 'powers out' kind of dark, but the 'There's something in front of my eyes' kind of dark. I let out a muffled call for help, realizing that my mouth had also been rendered useless. After a couple panicstricken movements I realize I'm bound. But, to top it all off I was also wearing minimal clothing from what I could tell of the breeziness I was currently feeling against my flushed skin. My breathing started to pick up. Who would try and kidnap me? Why? I didn't have anyone who hated me other than my family, but they wouldn't go this far... would they? My hands were shackled behind my back, I could hear the clang of the chains and coolness of the metal against my back bare back every time I moved even the slightest inch. I froze hearing footsteps and voices nearing where I was, chained, completely and utterly trapped, holding my breath I went limp hoping to fool whoever it was.

"This'll work out, there's no way not kidnapping the boy won't get us the big prize," I could hear the familiar voice echoing through the building. The voice sent shivers down my spine; Jakes supposed friend Tristan. Was Jake in on this? I didn't have anything of value, Jake knew that, so why was his friend talking about kidnapping?

I tensed involuntarily as someone walked in, straight towards me of course. I stay completely still as I hear rustling in front of me before I feel someone's hand brushing against my head tensing I heard the supposed male sush me, he undoes the blindfold and gag revealing one of my captors to me. Blinking a few times to get used to the light, seeing a pale boy maybe in his early twenties with dull green eyes and brown hair that looks matted. His eyes widened at the sight of me, as did my own, I watched terrified as he reached behind himself smiling at me slightly as he pulled some bread from somewhere.

"Master told me to feed you." He stated softly, his voice was raspy as if he hadn't had a glass of water in a few days. I cowered as he held out the bread, probably expecting me to take a bite I wouldn't for all I knew the bread could have been drugged. He seemed confused by my actions but continued to hold it out to me in silence, waiting to see if I'd make a move. He let out a small sigh, leaving the bread by my feet before walking out the huge rusty door closing it behind him I relaxed slightly and looked around.

The place was filthy, some kind of abandoned warehouse I'm guessing. Half the windows were shattered out, which left glass, dried out leaves, and other unidentifiable things all over the floor. The painted walls were peeling, showing the faded and crumbling bricks underneath. Looking up from where I was very nicely cuffed I could see the clouded sky through cracks and holes made by animals. The whole room looked to be deteriorating from years of weather. Tilting my head back the best I could I find rusted thick chains bolted to the wall behind me. Before I have time to look at anything else, I hear someone quickly moving down the hallway back towards me the fear I had been suppressing coming back full force as Tristan walks in. His hair disheveled as he looked at me with pure fury in his eyes.

I cower back as he storms towards me "You ungrateful little shit!" Are the first words seethed from his mouth "You should be happy I even let my slave feed you! If you die everything I'm planning will go to waste!" He stepped closer, the first kick landing on my shin making me yelp out it only frustrated him more. The more he hit me the harder I bit my lip, praying that it'd end soon, praying to whoever was listening that I'd be saved, that Jake would find me. The metalic taste of my own blood and the throbbing of the rest of my limbs was the last thing I remember before my body couldn't handle the pain and allowed me to succumbed into darkness.

I was so fucken pissed off a Tristan I was ready to call the cops. I knew that even if I did call the cops they could do nothing, I had no information to give anyone and it was pissing me off, I felt completely and utterly useless. Zach had to be scared shitless by now, Tristan had probably told him absolutely nothing about what was going on, I didn't know why he was doing this, I didn't know what his motives were, the letter hadn't helped me on anything either. It had been straight to the point:
