Chapter 5

Your POV

I am so annoyed because of Austin, he was just a new guy, he seems like a jerk to me also but how come he caught Camila's eye more than me? Camila and I are bestfriends since we were five. I just slept what I felt that night.

I woke up in the sound of my alarm, I groaned and turn the annoying alarm clock off. I sat up and stretched my limbs. I stood up and fixed my bed then went to the bathroom and showered.

After that I tried to find the perfect outfit for today. I searched in my walk-in closet.

I settled in black jeans, black batman shirt and some black vans. After I changed my clothes, I went to the kitchen and poured some cereal and milk in my bowl and ate it. I washed the bowl and spoon after eating then get my keys.

I drove to Camila's house because I regularly give Camila a ride to school, but when I arrived at her driveway, someone beat me to it, a black range rover was already parking there, I stopped my car and frowned, I wonder who is the owner of this car?

I got out of the car and walked towards Camila's front porch but I was surprised when I saw a jerk there.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"I am taking my future girlfriend to school, how about you? What are you doing here you dork?" He asked and gave me an intimidating stare, I did the same.

"I am always giving Camila a ride to school so back off and Camila is not gonna date a jerk like you" I told him.

"Trust me she's already in love with me" he said cockily and I just gave him a death glare.

"Oh? Y/N what are you doing here?" I heard Camila's voice and I turned my head to her direction and smiled.

"Hi Camz! I'm here to give you a ride to school like I always do" I told her but she gave me an uncertain smile.

"Oh! I'm sorry Y/N, I forgot to tell you that Austin will give me a ride to school" Camila said slightly embarrassed, I saw the jerk with a cocky smirk on his face.

"Is that so?" I said with a hint of disappointment on my tone.

"Yeah, I'm so sorry, next time Y/NN" she said then gave me a quick hug and hopped on Austin's car.

"See you around I guess" I told to myself then walked towards my car and drive.

When I arrived at school, the first thing I saw was Camila with the douche and her friends. Austin's hands was wrapped around Camila's waist. I can't help but feel a little jealous, I didn't bother to greet them, I went straight to my class.

Lunch came and I am sitting at the far corner of the cafeteria, wanna know why? It's because my seat was occupied by Austin and his friends and it seems like Camila, Dinah, Ally and Normani was enjoying their company, they are laughing at the jokes they are telling them. I kept glaring at them. I decided to sit at a corner table far from our usual table.

I put down my tray and sat lazily at the chair. I sighed sadly, I lost her. I just played with my food because I am not in the mood to eat.

"What's with the sad face batman?" I heard a raspy voice and I looked up and I saw that it was the one and only Lauren Jauregui.

"Nothing, I just don't have an appetite to eat, that's all" I told her and she sat across from me.

"Hmm... Liar, you suck at lying, come on tell me what's wrong? I am your sidekick anyway" Lauren said and I gave her a small smile.

"Okay I have one major problem and his name is Austin and he is taking my friends away from me" I told her and I shifted my gaze to the table that they are currently sitting.
