The bunker was poorly lit, a couple of lamps here and there. The sounds of the storm raging outside was loud and echoed through the rooms.
The Winchester's slept with ease, while fallen angel, Cas, had trouble. Every time the bunker shook with thunder he'd hide deeper into his warm, cozy blankets. Castiel hated thuner. It reminded him of his wars from when he was an angel, from when he played God, or worst of all when the angels fell.
He whimpered at the memories. He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head, like it'd remove all those horrible things he did. He never did anything right. He couldn't hunt, or cook, or clean, he could barely fight. He was a burden to the Winchester's.
Tears slowly fell from the former angels face. He ruins everything.
Across the bunker, Dean stirred from his peaceful sleep. He groaned as he sat up, popping his back from laying in weird position. He yawned as he got up from his nice, comfortable bed. He shuffled his way to his bedroom door. As he open his door he was met with a cold draft, he shivered at the change of temperature. Dean started to head toward to the kitchen when he thought he heard crying.
Dean tilted his head decided to follow. He wasn't all too surprised to have reached Castiel's room. The fallen angel had been very down lately. Both Dean and Sam have tried to help Cas but he refused. He didn't want to be helped. Dean sighed and slowly opened the door and peered in.
"Cas, buddy?" Dean asked as he stepped inside the room.
Castiel sniffled,"Dean?" He croaked out," W-What are you doing up?"
Dean sighed sadly before shuffling over to the bed. In the dim light he could make out Cas in the huddle of blankets. He smiled and laid down next to the poor angel.
Castiel felt his cheeks heat up,"Whats's wrong Angel?" Dean whispered softly. Castiel turned to face the hunter," I don't like the thunder, It reminds me of all the horrible things I did as an angel."
Dean wrapped his arms around the angel and pulled his close," Do you wanna talk about it?" Cas nodded," It just remind me that I can't do anything right. I'm a horrible angel and a horrible human." Dean sighed and kissed the top of Castiel's head. " You're a great human," Dean reassured," It takes time Angel."
Castiel nodded into Dean's chest. He suddenly flinched and whimpered at the sound of the sudden sound of thunder. Dean shushed him and hugged him tighter. He started whispering comforting words into the angel's ear.
Cas closed his eyes as Dean rubbed his back. He slowly started drifting into sleep but not before whisper a soft ' I love you' into Dean's. He finally fell asleep, the last thing he heard was ' I love you too angel.'
Well I've never written oneshots or Destiel. I'm very proud.
