“Gem? Are you awake?” asked mom. “yes, I’m awake” I answered. My life sucks. But it will end soon. One day, then it’s over. My last day at secondary school. Than will start my real life. Now I’m living in a small country. Belgium. Tomorrow I move to London. I’m going to study at the university of Greenwich. My mom and dad, said I may go when I was graduated. Nobody will miss me here. I had no boyfriend, my mother and father will sometimes come over. Most of my family doesn’t live in Belgium. I don’t really know why but something in me says that a part of me live in England. My life will continue there. I will be happy again.
“Gem! You need to go!” said my mother. “I’m coming” I answered. I take my bike and go to school. The last time I take my bike. At school, I haven’t so much friends. Actually one. And that’s because she was alone, and I was. But next year she goes to the university in Ghent. Maybe I’m gonna see her. I’m not sure.
I’m back home! Nobody was home, mom was probably to the supermarket. Getting some food, candy, I can take with me to London. Dad went early this morning to his work. I don’t have sisters or brothers, I’m alone. When I was little I wished everytime for a sister, but now I don’t care. I had great results at school. Better than expect. I went upstairs, and pack some stuff. “Gem! Are you home! I have a suprise!” yelled my mom. I went downstairs. I saw my mother, she was reading my results from school. “Congratulations! This is for you.” She said. An iPhone 5s? I was so happy. Why? I asked. “because, you want it, and you leave tomorrow morning, and your good results” answerd mom.
