Luke wandered about the store, searching for the items he needed. It was about two days now since Luke and James talked. Luke still thought about him. He couldn't ever stop thinking about him though. His dreams were wet and always about him. It was frustrating because Luke didn't think he could ever be with James. He sighed, trying to think about anything, just anything else. Looking around the isle, he searched for the items on his shopping list.
Suddenly, he bumped into someone and tripped on them. Luke had his face against the persons chest and his arms wrapped tightly around their waist. "I-i-i'm s-so sorry i-" He looked up, his face burning. James looked down at him blushing furiously. 'F-fuck.' Luke thought trying his best to get himself back up. James helped him and smiled. "It's okay." Luke slipped on the tile and yelped, grabbing back onto James. "Oh god- I'm so sorry i-i-i- listen um i-im so sorry." James laughed, his face still red. In a quiet tone, James whispered, "there's no need to apologize Luke. It's okay." Luke tried to hide his face. He felt so embarrassed but... So turned on. 'Why does this happen....' Luke finally stood up correctly, mumbling sorry as James helped him up. Luke had grabbed at James's waist with one arm and his shirt with his other hand when he fell the second time. Once he had stood up he had his hand spread out in James's chest. He took it off like James was burning hot. Although, he was quite hot anyways.
"Luke you need to stop apologizing." He laughed, shyly looking at Luke. His face was red and he looked so cute... "O-okay I'm sorr- I mean-" He sighed. "Yeah..." James laughed, smiling happily. "Y-you look cute when you blush." James suddenly blurted out. "W-wha-" James picked up Luke's basket and pushed it into his chest. "I mean, here's your basket!" He looked so embarrassed and flustered. "Wha- oh t-thank you." Luke brushed a hair out of his left eye and shyly looked away. James stepped back and opened his mouth, about to say something, but decided against it. "S-so... What are you doing here?" Luke asked, trying to get away from the awkwardness crowding between them.
"I was just getting groceries.. Seems like you are too. I just got here though." Luke smiled. "Do you wanna, i-i dunno... Shop together? I don't really like going around the store alone." Bad things have happened when he was younger. He had walked around the store alone, for something. Someone ended up almost dragging him into the bathroom and... Well.... He didn't want to think about it. "Y-yeah sure." James looked at Luke happily.
James and Luke walked about, looking for the things they needed. Luke felt so tempted to just grab James's hand. James also had that urge, but he tried to keep it unnoticable. They both awkwardly shopped and were still blushing, but only a little bit. "So... What are you doing later today?" James asked after a little bit of silence. "N-nothing really. Just sitting around at home." James's light blkushed suddenly got darker. "Really? Why don't you.. Um, come over maybe? I mean just as friends ya know..." They stopped walking and Luke looked at him and smiled. "S-sure."
James looked surprised. "Thanks. We can actually hang out ya know?" He laughed and put a hand on Luke's shoulder. "You can go drop your food off and just... Come back here? We can meet up or something and I can take you over to may place." Luke nodded, wondering if he should think about this a little more. He pushed that out of his mind, knowing that everything will be fine.
Luke drove home and quickly put his food away. James was waiting at the store and Luke felt like he was holding him back. He put his things away and walked out of his apartment. He could easily walk to the grocery store, but he never felt like it. He was so lazy.... Luke hurried down the stairs and outside. Walking to the store, he made sure he had his phone. He always felt like he forgot it, but in reality he never did. Maybe that was the reason why?
He made it to the store, spotting James in the parking lot. Luke waved and jogged up too him. "Hey." He huffed. He started running over to the store because he felt like walking normally was wasting time. "Did you run here?" James smiled, chuckling slightly. "I.. Yeah? About halfway down here. It's not too long away from...My house so yeah. I-i felt like you were getting tired of waiting for me." James laughed.
"I'd wait forever for you Luke."
