"Next?~" Luke heard James's sweet and happy voice. The next person shuffled up to the counter, still shuffling through her bag. "What would you-" He was cut off by her quick and short order and she finally pulled out her wallet. She fixed her blonde bun and popped her gum. "I've got a meeting in a little bit so hurry it up alright?" Luke watched and couldn't help but smile. "That'll be twelve dollars and fifty- alright thank you. What's your name?" He had a Sharpie in his hand and an empty cup in the other. The lady sighed and looked at him. "Janice. Now hurry the fuck up." The fancy snob of a woman hastily moved off, taking her phone out and dialing a number.

Luke walked up casually to the counter, smiling at James. "Hey cutie, what'chu want today?" James smiled back warmly and ran his fingers through his chocolate brown hair. "Oh just the usual." He could see a small blush on James's cheeks and felt his face heat up. "Alright, so, a toasted bagel, cream cheese and black coffee." Luke nodded and shyly looked for his wallet. He pulled it out as James read out the price. Luke defenetly heard him, but wanted to hear his voice again. "I-i'm sorry, I didn't hear you.. Can you repeat for me?" Luke looked up at James. Damn, he thought, what pretty eyes. "Thirteen dollars and fifty-five cents~" James purred, quickly looking Luke up and down. He did notice James's eyes moving up and down his figure, but he just decided to think about it later. He gave him the cash and James waved. "Hey, after my shift come talk to me alright?"

Luke looked over. He had walked a few steps away from the counter and heard James yell for him. "Ah, o-okay!" Luke said, bumpoing into someone in his way over to a empty table nestled neatly in the coffee shop. The windows let in lots of natural light, the dark brown wooden floorboards were smooth and the light green walls gave it a nice sense of spring. Some decorations and calk-menus littered the shop. Luke's eyes wandered about the coffee shop, pulling the sleeves of his sweater over his hands. He ended up finding his eyes fixed on James, the beautiful cashier.

Luke's curious and loving brown eyes couldn't look away from the tall, sweet boy at the counter. "How handsome.." He whispered to himself. James caught him staring and smiled. "Luke!" A young lady called, yelling out the order as she slid the items onto the other side of the counter. Luke stood up, messing a little bit with his light brown hair. It was always messy, but it somehow looked fine. He came upon to the other end of the counter, where his food and drink waited, and took a brief glance towards James. He looked back at his food and thanked the girl kindly.

Luke went back to his secluded corner-table and sat down, leaning against the wall. He took out his warm bagel from the paper bag and set it down on top of it. He ripped the plastic black knife out of it's thin plasticy packaging and grabbed the tiny circle-shaped container labeled "Cream Cheese". He listened to the comforting buzz of the coffee shop chatter. He wondered why James wanted him to see him after he finished his shift.

Luke slowly ate his cream-cheese-covered bagel and took out his phone, scrolling through texts from his friends. "What..." He saw that his ex had texted him. 'What the hell do you want?' Luke texted him, frowning and munching on his bagel. After a couple of seconds, his ex started typing. Luke read his response and rolled his eyes. 'You think we can hook up again? Just once?? Come on babe' "Disgusting.." He mumbled, finishing his snack. 'Fuck off.' He texted back, and blocked him from his contacts. Luke leaned back in the chair, looking at James. He saw that James was curiously looking over at him and he blushed, shylky looking away.

Luke glanced back up and saw James put his apron and other items away. Luke sipped his now lukewarm black coffee. He watched him disappear then come out smoothly from the "Employee's Only" door. James manoeuvred his way over to Luke's table. "Hey there." He smiled down at Luke and he smiled back. Luke came to the coffee shop almost everyday and they knew exactly what he wanted. James was always there and Luke loved that he would always be so nice to him.

James sat across from him, putting his arms on the table. "Ya know, I've seen you everyday for the past month and I still haven't gotten to talk to you. Properly, that is." Luke blushed and shyly looked at his hands. "T-that is true. I've always wanted to actually talk to you." He smiled and looked back at James. God, so handsome, he thought. Small erotic ideas made their way into his mixture of thoughts but he quickly pushed them out. "So, what would you like to talk about?~" James said, looking right into Luke's eyes.

"Anything, anything you want."
