Kol watched as the young and beautiful miss Forbes helped her mother with their new-washed clothes. Caroline hade earlier washed the clothes too, and now she was hanging them. Talk about doing much for her mother. He watched her as she irritably pulled back her blonde, long, beautiful hair that fell down in her face. She placed behind her ear and hung up the last piece of clothes, taking a few breath before turning around to watch was going on. A few kids were playing, women were carrying pots full of water from the river and some of the men were making swords and so on.
"So, this is the girl who have been stealing my brother?", he heard a voice said. It was Rebekah. Rebekah watched att the girl, who now were on her way down to the river.
"Have you even spoken to her, once?", she asked and then turned her attention to Kol.
"Uhm.. No.", Kol replied, looking at Rebekah. Maybe it was a little bit awkward that he hadn't actually talked to her, the love of his life (Only she didn't know). But it would be a little more awkward going to her, having nothing to say.
Rebekah rolled her eyes. Of course he hadn't. Coward. "Go and talk to her", she said, looking back at Kol.
"No?", he answered, like it was obvious that he couldn't just go and talk to a lady like that. It's not like swisch! And they were inlove.
"I demand you to go and talk to her!", Rebekah said. She was not changing her mind. Her brother had finally found someone to care about.
Kol raised his eyebrows at her, trying to get her to loose it. But she was unbreakable. "Fine!", he said, then started to walk towards Caroline.
Rebekah grinned and watched after her brother. And there he left, towards his future. She actually liked Caroline, they had earlier in this week had company to the river. That was when Caroline offered her help with getting water.
"You need help with that?", Kol asked when he reached her spot. He looked down at the little barrel that was filled with clothes.
Caroline stopped with what she was doing and looked up at the man who was standing there. She smiled weakly. "No, thank you.", se answered before returning with hanging up the clothes.
"Well, I'm doing it anyway", he smiled, making Caroline to laugh a small, beautiful laugh. He took a lightblue dress and hung it up over the three. "I'm Kol, Kol Mikaelson", he said.
"Caroline, Forbes, she replied, looking at him with a smile.
