Down by the river.

Pretty soon, with the help of Kol Mikaelson, all the soaked clothes were hung up. Caroline took up the barrel and went to put it away, so that no one would trip over it. Kol went after like a little boy amazed by a pretty girl.

“So, Miss. Forbes”, he said. “Do you want help with refilling that?”, he asked her with a smile- not really sure if she actually understood what he meant.

“What?”, Caroline asked and turned towards him. In the village that they lived in, she was surprise that she hasn’t met Kol earlier. He seemed like a decent man,  even though he could be a bit incoherent.

"You’ve run out of water”, he replied, nodding towards another pot. Another empty pot, that was supposed to be filled with water, he assumed.

“Oh, yes. I assume I should get some more”, she said and looked at the empty pot. “And by the way”, she said. “Don’t call me that. Call me Caroline”

Kol laughed quietly, even though it wasn’t all that funny. “Forgive me, Caroline”, he excused himself before walking over and grabbing the pot.

“Also, you help out awfully much”, she added, and followed him towards the river.

Kol looked at her, with a big smile on his lips. No, actually it was more of a smirk. “You seem awfully demanding”, he answered her.

“I’m not”, she said. “I think”, she added. Caroline thought about it a second, was she demanding? Maybe she was, she didn’t want to be. She wanted to be able to just ‘go with it’, not causing too much trouble. And with demanding often comes trouble.

"No, no. I didn’t mean it like that. I like a woman who knows what she wants”, he explained, still with his eyes on the gorgeous girl walking next to him.

“Who is demanding now?”, Caroline asked with a small smirk growing on her lips.  Kol laughed, and took the last few steps to the river.

“I never said I wasn’t”, he replied and sat down at the river, to fill up the pot. Caroline agreed and nodded, kneeling down next to him.

“Now give me that, you shouldn’t do all of my work”, she said, taking the pot out of Kol’s hands.  She filled it with water, and then put it down next to her. Caroline looked out over the beautiful environment. The river, the trees, the flowers and everything. She loved it down the river. Everything was so peaceful. This is how she wanted her life to be. She wanted to enjoy the better parts of the life she had been given, and live it in peace with everything around her. At least she had the chance to live like that.

“What are you thinking about?”. The voice disturbed her in the middle of her deepest thoughts, not that she actually minded.

“I’m thinking about everything”

Also I'm sorry for the bad grammar in this one, and if there's some missing Words I'm sorry. There is osmething seriously wrong with my computer.
