RipNami: This Can't Be Happening

Riptide still hadn't emerged from the water for quite a while now.

Ah he'll be fine! SeaWings can breath underwater. Tsunami assured herself. Then she started to doubt herself, What if he's being strangled by someone? A squid? Nah, squids don't eat dragons. Another dragon? Nah, what use would Riptide be? Wait, seaweed?! Yes! That squid-brain is dumb enough to get strangled by seaweed! Tsunami got up and dived into the water to find Riptide.

"Riptide?!" Her scales flashed lighting up the dark water, "We need to go back! It's getting dark."

No answer.

Tsunami surfaced with panic.

"RIPTIDE?!" She listened to her voice echo through the water, "No, this can't be happening!"

She got ready to dive back into the water when something pulled on her tail. Tsunami struck at the object with sharp, gleaming claws.

"Ow!" The object said.

"Riptide?!" Tsunami said shocked.

"Yeah," Riptide said rubbing his cut.

"So I try to save you from seaweed and what do I get? I get scared then you attempt to drown me!" Tsunami said hovering over the water and drying her wings.

"Yeah nothing, except for this pearl." Riptide said giving Tsunami a pure, white pearl, "I saw a shimmer when you pushed me in the water."

Tsunami took the pearl in her talons and pushed Riptide into the water again with her tail.

"And that's what you get." Tsunami said laughing.
