RipNami: Cherish

Tsunami growled in frustration, I can't find the right chain! she thought to herself. Tsunami was back in the palace, she was in the treasure room looking for a chain that looked good with the pearl that Riptide had given her. She picked up another chain, a pink chain, I can't wear pink! It doesn't even match the pearl! Tsunami thought as she threw the chain. It flew through the water only to slow down and sink to the ground. Life was easier without jewelry, she was about to throw another non-working chain but she stopped herself when a green glow was reflected off the treasure. She turned around to see Riptide leaning against the doorway.

"So what're you looking for?" He asked, the glow reflecting off all the jewelry.

"None of your business, squid-brain," Tsunami said as she turned around and resumed her search of finding the perfect chain.

She looked down at the pearl that was in her talons, Why is jewelry so evil?! Can't I jus- her thoughts were stopped by a tight grip around her talons. She was about to bite off the attacker's arm when she realized it was Riptide. Riptide opened Tsunami's clutched talons and the pearl was revealed.

"Ah, so you're trying to find a chain that matches it?" Riptide asked, already knowing the answer.

"You know, it's so hard to not kill you when you have that stupid smile on your face," Tsunami said while pulling her arm back, "but yes, I am looking for a chain."

Riptide looked down at the pile of jewelry and picked up a black chain. He took the pearl from Tsunami and before she could protest, he attached it onto the black chain and draped it around her neck.

"There, it really isn't that hard to find a chain," Riptide said while stepping back and looking at her.

"Hey! Shut up, squid-brain,"

"Whatever you said princess," Riptide winked.

Little did he know that that moment was one that Tsunami would cherish forever.
