A/N: LONG TIME NO SEE! I'm so sorry for the long wait - it's all my fault and I won't let it happen again! I need Lewis to change the chapter name when he sees this - I suck at naming these...
Scarlett O'Sullivan, the most beautiful girl in Harlington High, queen of fashion and most certainly the kind of girl every boy would want to bring home to their parents had been wallowing in self pity for the past two days, why? Because of that bitch Sarah Freed.
Self pity was no longer an option, she wanted to show the world how resilient, durable and fabulous she was even if all she was doing was purchasing a cup of coffee. It was time to show the world that despite the horrors she was currently enduring, that she wasn't going to let it break her.
Whilst waiting for her order, she happened to notice; Jordan Harrison, the smooth talking older brother of her best friend Finn. He'd never caught her eye when she was younger, she had the impression that he was crabby and temperamental, that he thought he was better than his younger brother, but actually, he didn't seem that way at all.
"Jordan? It's Scarlett, I saw you alone and thought I should pop over and say hello. How are you?" she asked. The real thoughts going through her mind were far less PG, the boy had a nice body and she was a fan of nice bodies.
Jordan flashed her a gleaming white smile, the coffee in his hand was scorching hot, but he was far too concerned with responding to the beautiful blonde sitting beside him. She had eyes you could melt into. "I'm good, I'd ask you how you're doing but I bet you're sick of hearing that question, huh."
Scarlett stifled a small laugh, despite the many tragedies orbiting her life, it was moments like this that always made her feel at ease. "I'm glad you're back in town, Finley really needs you right now and with everything going on with Skye and Oliver, he could use his big brother now." As much as she wanted to tell Jordan about how she was glad he was back in town, she really meant it when mentioned Finley. They were all struggling in their own ways but Finn the most.
"He knows I'll always be here for him, that's what big brothers are for right? You know you can always talk to me too, you don't ever have to feel alone."
Scarlett beamed in delight. "You have no idea how much that means to me."
Jordan locked his eyes on Scarlett. She wasn't sure her heart had pounded so fast in her life. Scar noticed a small freckle underneath Jordan's eye, it was drawing closer to her face. More importantly she wanted to feel his lips on hers. The wait was unbearable, but as Jordan landed his lips on hers, it sent a vibration through her body that felt like electricity.
"Miss O'Sullivan, your coffee is ready." the waitress interrupted. Scarlett pulled away from Jordan but didn't face the waitress, she ruined a perfectly romantic moment in mere seconds.
"I have to go, I'll call you?" Scarlett said, snatching her coffee out of the waitresses hand on her way out.

Riley crouched beside a small, foul-smelling collection of trash cans. Stifling a gag, she pinched her nose and held her breath. There was no way she'd breathe this air through her nose or her mouth.
Then, startling her, a hand fell on her shoulder. She whipped around, hand raised in defense, only to meet a familiar - and not-so-comforting set of features.
Kennedy Edwards tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and cocked an eyebrow. "What...are you doing?" She didn't bother to hide her distaste.
Riley considered making up an elaborate story - leaving out the fact that she was tracking a mysterious-looking man through the town. (Because that sounded creepy.)
