Its evening and my mom and dad bdy themselves with the party decorations. I go in to the kitchen and to my surprise, I find my bossy sister baking a cake for me. "You baking a cake for me?", I asked, trying to sound surprised. "Uh no, it's for the neighbours", she says, icing it. I look at her like funny. And then she says,"Obviously. its for you, silly". I chuckle and go in to my room.
I receive a call from my Aditi, I pick up and it goes like.. me : hey she: hey buddy. happy birthday!! me: thanks a lot. she: so what ya doin? me: nothing much. hey are you coming to my party? she: If I am invited. me: of course you are. she: yeah okay then.
I hang up. And then, I receive a numerous number of calls from my friends and relatives.

I decide to wear my red Farrah dress with cream sandals and I leave my hair open.

I go downstairs and find my mom talking to some one on phone. She was talking in a hushed voice and was pacing here and there. This worried me. Once she hung up the call, I went to her and asked,"Mom . is everything alright?". She looked at me in a concerned way and said," No baby." "What happened?", I asked. "Uh...your uncle just met with an accident", she said, nervously. "Omg!", I react. "yes...and I am afraid we may have I cancel your party", she says. "We can party some other day.. is he alright?", I ask. "no.. he is in the hospital. Lost a lot of blood.", she states. "Mom you go. I'll stay here", I assure.
My mom leaves and I call all my friends to say them the party has cancelled.
So this is how my fourteenth birthday ended. Welcome to my life an unpredictable one. We may think everyone has a relaxed and comfortable life but deep inside their troubles eat them up. My life is filled with all kinds of weird people, total and unexpected twists and ... a couple of people who love me.
Back at school, I am the innocent one. And yeah I do have many haters who back stab me. But this is life and I am thankful I am some people whibstand my me, no matter what.
Coming to my friends, as I said, Priyanshi, Rachel, Caroline, Deepshikha are my besties, but yeah we do fight. Priyanshi and Deepshikha are the cool dudes of our team. And then comes, Shriya, Aditi , Pavani, Divyani and Aloysia. These girls are a team and yeah I am a lot more closer to Aditi that others.
Then I go my room change my dress and pray to God that my uncle will be alright. I go into my bed, hoping for a new and good day ahead.
