When I woke up, I saw Lucy purring softly. I wake up listening her purs and lift my cat. It has brown fur and is extremely beautiful. I stroke her fur gently and then I remember something. My uncle.
I rush downstairs and find mom, dad and my sister having coffee. I join them and pour myself a cup and wait for them to strike a conversation. No one does. "How's uncle?" I ask. "He's fine. Out of danger. Thank God" mom says and sighs. I thank God silently and smile.
"Princess" my dad says and looks at me. "Yes dad?" I ask in a sweet tone. "Your party yesterday didn't go good. May I have the privilege to take you out today?" Dad asks and chuckles. I giggle and reply "Sure."
The day is hot. And I am sweaty from doing my workout. I drink some water and wipe my face with a towel. And then I hear some voices. Siddharth? Oh yes!
Sid is my brother who lives abroad and is finally here. I go down to meet Sid and his mom. Me and Sid collapse in a hug. "How are you?" I ask, once we are back to our senses. "I am fine and you big sissy?" he questions. "I am all good." "Keertana. Go have your bath" my mom says ruining the moment. My aunt laughs and says "Keer, didn't have bath?". I nod and look down smiling. "Go have a nice bubble bath and we have a nice day ahead." my sister says as she joins the conversation. "Why? What are we doing today?" I ask. "Dad is taking us outtttttt. Yay" she and Sid shout. I laugh and make my way to my room.
I have my bath and I decide to wear a tank top with my shorts. I have some biology homework. So I decided to complete it. It's about Cell and it's functions. Mitochondria is the power house of the cell. So? Sometimes I find some stuff really useless. Like,
3x + 2y = 54, find x and y.
Hello? They never got lost. So why do I find them? And it's kind of useless. Like if at all I go to buy a pizza, I will not be using these mathematical calculations. Like,

Oh yes, I do... *So how much is it... *
See? It's not useful! Anyway I break my head for two hours and finish the homework. Sid barges in my room and starts irritating me to play with him. I do as directed.
Dad comes home in the afternoon and asks us to get ready. We do.
Just then I receive a phone call. Its Priyanshi.
Me : Hey
She: Come over to my house.
Me : Sorry can't.
She : Why??
Me : Dad's taking us out
She : You ready.. ?
Me : Yeah absolutely. Skinny jeans, white top.
She : Not that dumbhead. You ready for science exhibition?
Me : No.
She : Plan something quick. I'll join you *giggles*
Me : Okay.. *sighs*
Dail tone.
"Sisssy. I want a pizza" Sid whines as he enters my room. "We'll ask dad to take us to McDonald's okay?" I say. He smiles and nods. "Keerthana!!" my mom's voice is heard from downstairs . "Cominggg" I shout back.
Me and Sid look at each other, getting prepared for our game. 'Who goes down first'
He pushes me back and runs, I run fast to catch him. As a result my leg twists on the stairs and I fall down the stairs, twisting my ankle. Nice.
Sid giggles and raises his eyebrow, indicating that he won. But that naughtiness fades away as he hears me moan. "Keerthana twisted her ankle" Sid shouts so that people hear.
Hearing the information, Mom and Aunt come to my rescue.
"Seems like she can't walk" Aunt sighs. And then I am carried all the way to the couch. They put me down and mom goes to bring the ointment. "Awh poor baby, You can't go out to celebrate now" Aunt feels bad. So do I.
Once my treatment is done, mom makes me some hot milk. I sip on it and I hear mom say "I'll ask dad to order pizzas home. Okay? Your favorite one." I am on the heaven, nothing can make you happier than a bite of pizza. "Double Cheese" I cheer.
