Chapter 12

Tia's POV

  Phew! Finally classes are over. Today's day was so tiring. I walked out of the college with Rohan and Raj. I saw Abhi walking with Suman, both were wearing black, what an coincidence? He is so busy these days that he doesn't talk to me once even. I should go and talk to him. I excused myself from the conversation between Rohan and Raj, and headed towards Abhi. He looked at and smiled, I smiled back.

"Hey! Abhi. Why are you not talking to me like you were talking to me before? When you got a new girl——— friend, you totally forgot me," I tried hard not to smile.

"Tia, he dies to talk with you, but you are always busy with someone else. Isn't it, Abhi?" Suman said smiling.

  "Nothing like that. Though I am with someone else but that doesn't mean I will forget about my best friend," I said.
  
"Come on! Tia, I am not at all ignoring you. I am always there for you," Abhi said.
 
"Abhi, I have got something in my cupboard. It's the baby Abhi's photo which he thought have destroyed but I kept it with me. Do you want to see Suman?" I said, taking out the photo.

"Yeah sure," she said coming near me.

Before I could give her, Abhi try to snatch it from me but I start to run. He catches me and now we are so close, that makes me uncomfortable. To avoid an uncomfortable situation, I gave him the photo.

"You......" he was about to say something when Rohan called me. I stopped the conversation and waved hands, went with Rohan.

Rohan's POV
I woke up late today. Last night, me and Tia were partying so much. My head is paining a lot, hope Tia would be feeling better.

  I got ready and went to college. I found Tia in the corridor, I went to her and gave her a hug.
 
Then we went to the class, we both sat in one bench, together.

"So, how are you feeling?" I asked in concern, in the party Tia had consumed so much alcohol. I was really worried for her.

"My head is paining, but it's all okay no need to be worry about it." She smiled; that smile always melts me. It made me smile, I kissed her cheek to show that I agree to her, but I don't...
 
I was all busy cracking jokes to make her smile, when that Monkey entered the class. To have little fun, I winked at her. She looked so shocked, that's not her fault, you know, that no one ever winks on her because she is a Monkey. Abhi even was with her, I don't understand why my best friend is hanging out with this Monkey!

Suddenly, a guy out of thin air entered the class and shouted, "Hey guys! We are going to have a dance competition that happens in every two years. Who-so-ever are interested, please tell me! Contact me at this this number!(sic)"

Tia seemed to be really excited about it, but I wasn't. I really didn't want to miss my football matches due this stupid dance competition. I hope she doesn't drag me to do this. You know, nobody can drag me down!
 
  "Rohan! Rohan!" Oh! Here we go! "I—"
"Listen babe! I really don't want to participate." I tried to be as sweet I can be.

"Come on! You are so good in dance, than why are you saying no?" She said.

"Actually, my knee is injured." (TOTAL LIE.) "I can't dance, I am sorry. But you can go with Abhi, he can dance as good as me."
 
"Hmmmm......Okay!" She went to Abhi to talk.  I was so close of missing my football matches. I'll make sure that I get the trophy this year.

"Hey! Abhi, can you be my dance patner?" She asked, excited.

"Yeah.... sure! Why not!" Abhi said immediately. That's makes my life more easy...

"I am really sorry, Tia. But my knee really hurts." I said again.

"It's totally fine, Rohan. Your health is more important than competition."
  I was smirking all the time, thank the Devil, I am saved! I really didn't want to miss football. I am so Sorry Tia for lying but my team needs me.
  
  After the class was over, Abhi and Tia went for registration. Where as I went to play football! I changed and wore my football jersey, and ran towards the football field. I was happily running towards when I saw that Monkey again! This time I was surprised than annoyed. I saw her playing football. I saw Her playing football! She was wearing jersey and playing with the boys. She was playing so good—— wait what? She is still my enemy.

I reached the field and everyone was looking at me, but my eyes were staring at her. Who is she? Whatever she is, she is awesome— what? No she is awful!

I kept staring at her, she came near me said, " Come on! Boy. Let's see who can play better," she challenged me.

I smirked and went to my position.
The match started, after many attempts by others, I finally got the ball, I ran towards the goal post. I was about to kick, when Monkey came and snatched the ball. She reached near the goal post and I was running beside her. Before she could kick, I ran towards her and pushed her. She gave me deathly glare, I winked and ran away. I was about to kick, when she even pushed me.
"Hey!" I shouted standing up. She winked at me and ran away. Copymonkey! I so much hate her (sic)! After so much pushing and pulling each other, the football match was over, and nobody won! Wow...

I was about to drink water from my bottle, when I found Tia and Abhi smiling at me. Oh—uh!
"Rohan! Babe, you said your knee was paining?" Tia said forcing a smile.

"It.....it was, but now its— its all perfect," I tried hard not to stammer.

"Really.???" Abhi said, grinning ear to ear.

It made me more scared, now. Both are going to kill me for sure.

"I—uh am sorry, My team needed me for the upcoming match and also I didn't want to dance. So I had to tell lie." I said.

"It's okay! Rohan. I know it already, Suman told us." That Monkey? When did she tell her?

Time out.

"Now come on! Let's go to my home," Abhi came and slipped his hand onto my shoulder. I took my bag and went to Abhi's house.
